NillWe had a very disappointing experience at this place. The food was unhygienic, and I even found hair in the rice. They served expired cold drinks, which made me question their quality standards. The washroom was dirty, and the tap didn’t work properly. On top of that, the air conditioner wasn’t working, making it uncomfortable. The staff didn’t seem interested or helpful, and many basic things like handwash, a pillow, a bucket, and even a dustbin were missing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

NillI wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The hygiene level is worst. The photos shared were very different from the reality. The entire property had spider webs, and there was no cleanliness anywhere. The games and extra activity areas were also very dirty. The rooms hadn't been cleaned properly after the previous guests, and the cupboards had a terrible smell. The floors were dirty, and the toilet was the worst part - it was completely unclean. The bedsheets smelled, and the room had a terrible odor.

NillWe stayed at Khandala Retreat Valley on the weekend of 2nd–3rd August, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. While the resort's infrastructure and location are decent, the overall service and hospitality were well below acceptable standards. We had booked 3 rooms for 3 couples and encountered several issues: Room Conditions: * In 2 rooms, there were no buckets provided. * AC remotes were missing in 2 rooms. * One room had a non-functional washbasin. * One room’s flush was not working. * Another room had a constant water leakage issue, making it difficult to sleep (we literally had to play music to cover the sound). * One room had no pillows provided. * The geyser wasn’t working in one room. Food & Dining: * The meal package included only chicken curry, rice, and roti – no starters or variety. * They served us an expired Sprite bottle which is completely unacceptable. * When we requested starters, we were told they could be made at extra cost. Later, they claimed the food was ordered from another restaurant and asked us to pay additional delivery charges – as if Zomato or Swiggy doesn’t exist. There was a huge gap between what was promised and what was actually delivered. Overall, the poor service, lack of basic amenities, and unprofessional handling left us extremely dissatisfied. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

NillTerrible experience – avoid this place! I booked 3 rooms for 12–13 July for my family, and the stay was extremely disappointing: Rooms were smelly and unclean. No curtains until late night despite repeated requests. Bathrooms were dirty, no hot water, no toiletries, and no one responded when we asked for a bucket. Despite informing them in advance, lunch was delayed by over an hour. Dinner was also served 75 mins late. Food package is a scam – they serve very limited items and claim the rest is "not available" or "finished". Baby's milk was provided after 11:30 PM despite repeated follow-ups since 10:30 PM. TVs didn’t have remotes; some rooms didn’t have TVs at all. Breakfast was a mess – promised poha and omelette, only got some poha at 10 AM and no omelettes even by 11:30 AM. Staff and manager are rude, and even the owner was arrogant and unhelpful. No GST bill provided – raises questions on legality. This is not a "retreat" – it's a disaster. Guests are expected to ask for every basic amenity. The property looks nothing like the photos. Stay away!
