Discover Resort Khandala

I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent stay at your resort. We booked a one-day stay for a group of 12 adults and 5 children, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable experience, but unfortunately, our time at the resort turned into a nightmare. The facilities were fine, and the staff seemed friendly, but the real issue began after we returned home. That night, every single one of the children, as well as 9 of the adults, came down with severe food poisoning. The symptoms were unmistakable – vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach cramps. We are certain that the cause was the food served during our stay, as it was the only meal we all shared together. It is incredibly disappointing that a place that prides itself on hospitality and service would allow something like this to happen. I would expect better food safety standards, especially when dealing with such a large group of guests, including children. Now, not only are we dealing with the aftermath of illness, but the trip, which was meant to be a fun getaway, turned into a stressful and traumatic experience for all involved. I hope that this review serves as a warning for future guests, and I urge the resort management to take food safety more seriously moving forward. I won’t be recommending this resort to anyone, and I sincerely hope others don’t have to experience the same unfortunate situation we did.

🚨!!!!!! Alert!!!!!!! 🚨 My sister and her school staff nearly about 50 members in a group, recently visited to this resort for relaxation and enjoyment but unfortunately, it turned into a nightmare. After their stay, everyone in her group fell sick with a stomach infection including her, clearly indicating serious hygiene issues. The food quality seemed questionable, and now, looking back, it was likely contaminated. The cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen hygiene must be severely lacking. A resort that fails to maintain basic health standards is unacceptable, and I urge management to take this matter seriously before more guests suffer. I strongly advise others to avoid this place until they improve their hygiene standards. A vacation should be enjoyable, not a health hazard!

Great stay. Superb services by Discover Resort team. Food quality was great. Entertainment activities were first class. Quick check in done by Prajakta. Room has swimming pool view. They haven't called for a late check out.

My friends and I stayed at Discover Resort Khandala for a one-day trip on January 25, 2025. While the overall experience was good, we all, including the children, began to experience symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and weakness once we returned home. I suspect this was caused by the water. My 11-month-old daughter also had the same issues. I would advise anyone planning to visit to take precautions and bring their own water.

Room provided was good. Activities planned were very nice and quite engaging . Artists hired were worth the enjoyment. Staff is polite and ever ready to help with smile . |Just a suggestion for swimming pool - please keep swimming pool hygiene . Rest all was perfect .. |1. Food good|2. Staff excellent |3.
