The room was spacious, well-maintained, and surprisingly clean. The bed was comfortable with fresh linens, and the bathroom had hot water available throughout the day which is a blessing in Mahabaleshwar’s cool weather. Basic toiletries were provided, and the housekeeping staff was prompt when we requested additional towels. The balcony view opened up to a lush green valley, which made mornings especially refreshing. Waking up to chirping birds and misty trees was one of the highlights of my stay. 📺 Amenities: The room had: A flat-screen TV (with basic cable) Wooden furniture (minimal but practical) A wardrobe and sitting area Room heater (available on request) Wi-Fi worked fine, though a little patchy at times during the evening Do note, this isn’t a luxury resort — it’s a mid-range hotel with all essentials done right. 🍽️ Food & Service: The in-house restaurant serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. We tried their Paneer Butter Masala with Garlic Naan for dinner — it was flavorful and freshly cooked. Breakfast was complimentary in our package and included poha, toast, tea, and boiled eggs — simple but satisfying. Room service was quick, and the staff was courteous and always ready to help. I appreciated how they arranged a cab for local sightseeing without any added charges. 🌳 Location: The hotel is about 2.5 km from the main market, which makes it quiet and peaceful yet not too far from major attractions like Venna Lake and Wilson Point. Auto-rickshaws are available but not always frequent, so having your own car or pre-booked cab helps. 👍 Pros: Clean and spacious rooms Great valley view from balcony Friendly staff and quick service Good food quality Peaceful surroundings 👎 Cons: Wi-Fi could be better Slightly far from the main town if you're depending on public transport Some rooms may not have as good a view — ask before booking --- ⭐ Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a peaceful, budget-friendly stay with a touch of comfort, Hotel Royal Hills is a solid choice. It may not be ultra-luxurious, but it delivers where it counts: cleanliness, hospitality, and a scenic atmosphere. Ideal for couples, families, or small groups who want a relaxed Mahabaleshwar trip without burning a hole in their pocket.

Nice location. Rooms were good Service was pretty slow . We had to wait around 2 hours after ordering our dinner.you could attribute that to weekend rush

I found on mmt only Hotel room was very small washbasin was not cleaned and very old toilet commode's upper seat was broken and toilet was very dirty No hot water phone was there but was not working I had to go personally two floors down for 4-5 times for asking room service 2-3 times I ask for towels but no one helped no toothpaste or toothbrush was there only shower gel was there but after asking for soap also they didn't provide tv was there but don't know was working or not staff was helpful but couldn't help on above issues room was ok for 500rs rent but when you pay 2500 ist not worth it and you will fill cheated

Dirty washroom, rude staff , not wort at all... A total bogus.. what they show in pic and actual thing is totally different. Waste of money. Don't book here.

When I check in room..the room condition was very worst..bed sheet , pillow were in very dirty condition..pl don't go for this hotel

They have cleaner rooms, kind and helpful staff. Rooms are very nice, fresh and clean. The staff is very helpful. Loved this place. Will prefer same place for the next time too.
