very bad experience , writing from the room recently with Ark wellness resort and their staff the manager. The food quality not food. Absolutely cold storage food or not got in monsoon weather. Paneer was stale. No hot water in bathroom , tiles were slippery. The towel stand is bend/fell down instantly when we wiped the hands. It was already broken they made it look ok. Since morning 6 am waiting for bath no water pressure, gyser not working . The TV is not working not even free channels. Frequent power outages with no proper power backup was a hell to tolerate post evening. The charging points not working and not even mobile could be charged. Pathetic maintenance and the manager behaviour. Complete waste of money, will not at all recommend this resort think 100 times before planning to book. That is the basic necessity during any outing. Worst experience. Unacceptable and unprofessional attitude towards customers. Avoid avoid, complete waste of money.

We had a very bad experience recently with Ark wellness resort and their staff the manager. They did not serve hot food for dinner and lunch. Imagine eating absolute cold food in monsoon weather and when asked they gave a reason that they have no stock of fuel to keep it hot. Paneer was stale. The bathroom tiles were slippery and the towel rod fell down instantly when we wiped the hands. It was already broken they made it look ok. The bathroom mirror was so shabby and rusted. The balcony stool didn't serve the purpose of holding a single glass, as its top tilted totally from each side. The TV was not working which they later changed next day. Frequent power outages with no proper power backup was a hell to tolerate post evening. The AC was getting off abruptly and not getting on for a long time thereafter. Pathetic ac maintenance. I will not at all recommend this resort as it's not managed properly and maintenance is poor compared to the very high pricing they have. Above all they insist on full payment before checking in which is not the case with many resorts that take 50 pc advance and balance is paid during checkout. Not serving hot food and giving clarification on that itself made all the customers unhappy about everything. That is the basic necessity during any outing. Worst experience. Unacceptable and unprofessional attitude towards customers. Very money minded approach.

We booked the entire resort for a company offsite - out of 22 people from across India, 18 were Mangaging Directors, with two Senior Managing Directors. Let me list down what is not right with this so called resort! a) I will call this a guest house/airbnb more than a resort. Very poorly maintained rooms. b) ACs in many rooms were not working. When you complain to the manager - he says they are working. Of course you can hear their sound when they are on - but they do not cool the room - extremely old/ill maintained ACs c) Many rooms had issues with insects d) One Senior Managing Directors room - had an issue with drainage - after bath, the water refused to drain out e) The other senior managing directors room - had a faucet that was not working - broken flush etc. They managed to get some of it sorted after he checked out in a day. f) The conference room (it is more of a hut/shed) - has no wifi. There are two ACs. One was not working for the past four months. The other is is no condiction to cool down a room that gets unbearably hot during the day. Imagine - the room has a tin roof! And the manager was well aware was the AC was not working for four months or so! They were planning to charge us Rs. 7500/- for this shed - after much fighting they reduced it to Rs.3500. Oh - they charged additionally for the projector - which was in a terrible condition - apparantly they rented it out. g) Extremely poor service over all - very very slow service: Anything that you need/want, takes ages to get it done. Whether it is food/the invoices, everything - takes ages. The manager/responsible staff do not stay in the guesthouse - so you can imagine the state of affairs. h) Extremely, highly extremely money minded people. Kept following up regularly, for payment - but the service we got for it is not worth it in the least. i) If you need hote water for bath - forget taking bath! The only good side - the food (very limited choices) - was reasonably okay. I am terribly disappointed that I was part of making the choice of this house. The guesthouse spoiled a trip that we were all looking forwarded to! Do not call this a "Wellness Retretat" and spoil other real wellness retreats' good name. We all left very unwell and stressed out. Never ever again. Ever.

We visited Ark Wellness Retreat with our family in 2024 and had a great time. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The balcony sitout was a personal favourite to enjoy some quiet time. The food was great and the staff were very helpful. We are definitely visiting again soon.

Beautifully designed; finely crafted! Absolutely calm and cosy! The chef made amazing food too! Highly recommended for family and couples ….

We have multiple senior citizens with us. The lift is not working. And they do it offer room service and the overall service is extremely slow and pathetic

This is a nice place quite close to the city, but still a quiet location. Approach road is kachcha from main road to the resort but manageable and it's only about 500 meters. Garden cottages are decent sized and have all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Works out well for seniors as there are no ups and downs from rooms to dining area. The things that did not go right for us: 1. There was a shoot on the premises the whole day. If we were informed about this in advance we wouldn't have stayed at the resort. Our day was wasted with swimming pool not available and restrictions in moving around. Continuous sound of the 2 generators made sure there was no peace. Service was bad too since the staff had to cater to the hundreds of people involved in the shoot. The manager did offer us free lunch to compensate but it's not good enough when you spend so much money already for a 2 nights stay for 3 rooms 2. Main building was being painted from inside when we arrived. This meant restrictions in using the pool or freely moving around 3. Food preparation was good (except the last breakfast we had) but dishes were delivered arbitrarily without any thought 4. Early morning loud speakers from nearby villages made sure there were no quiet mornings. But I guess this is not the resort's problem 5. Last breakfast had burnt chilla and coffee with obvious smell of burnt milk. No apologies or offer to replace the food came from the chef or the manager
