Extremely Disappointed – Not Worthy of a 5-Star Tag I am writing this review while currently staying at Oxford Golf Resort, and it’s extremely disheartening to say that the experience is nowhere close to what the website promises or what one would expect from a property claiming to be a 5-star resort. Firstly, the website clearly states that the suite offers a queen-size bed. In reality, what we got is two single beds simply pushed together. Anyone who values comfort knows this is not at all the same as a proper queen mattress. It’s uncomfortable, misleading, and frankly unacceptable for a resort of this stature to advertise one thing and provide another. Secondly, the air conditioning in the room is another nightmare. There is no option to switch it off, and the so-called temperature control doesn’t work at all. We are left freezing throughout the stay, with no control over our own room environment. This is not just inconvenient but has also directly hampered our baby’s health – something that should never happen in a property claiming to offer premium hospitality. A resort that positions itself as a 5-star destination should be setting the benchmark for quality and guest comfort. Instead, the basic essentials of a comfortable stay – a proper bed and functional climate control – are completely missing. For a place that charges premium rates and flaunts luxury, Oxford Golf Resort fails miserably in delivering even standard 3-star quality. Highly disappointing and not at all recommended if you are expecting the comfort, reliability, and hospitality that a true 5-star should provide.

Quality of rooms and services are standard but I am surprised that my headphones got stolen after room cleaning and staff attitude is totally laid-back. They even dont have courtesy to call customer to update on their investigation. They only keep on telling nonsense that nothing has been reported in lost & found but not understanding difference between something is dropped or misplaced and stolen from room. Beware! Dont keep anything unattended anywhere in this hotel. You wont get any support.

We wasted our weekend at Oxford Gold Resort and I'm still fuming about it. A 1-star rating is generous for this dump. Let's break it down: We walked into this supposed "5-star" resort expecting luxury, but what we got was a joke. No lobby? Are you kidding me? All the activities, pool, and restaurant are 200m away uphill, and don't even get me started on the lack of transportation services. What about seniors? Did you even think about them? The food at the clubhouse restaurant was disgusting. We waited forever for a table, and when we finally got our food, it was a letdown. And don't even get me started on the swimming pool. We get there and they're telling us we need a cap, which nobody informed us about earlier. And of course, they've got a shop selling them for 200 bucks each. What a rip-off! But the cherry on top was when our car got punctured during checkout. We asked the staff for help, and they couldn't care less. No emergency services, no nothing. We had to struggle to find a mechanic, and after 3 hours, we finally managed to get one. And guess what? The hotel staff took his number for "future reference". Unbelievable. Avoid this resort like the plague. The management clearly doesn't care about their guests.

Had a fantastic experience at the resort! The views were truly soul-soothing. The food was delicious, and the rooms were warm and comfortable. A special thanks to Komal for her prompt responses, excellent room service, and maintaining top-notch cleanliness.

The rooms are large and comfortable, they have a good breakfast spread with the some great live counters. There are a number of activities for adults and kids alike. Overall great experience. The infinity pool is great place to be at sunset for gorgeous views.

I was disappointed with my recent stay at the resort. The food served was not as per the order, and despite this, we were still charged for the incorrect items. On top of that, room cleaning and basic housekeeping were not done properly during our stay. I hope the management looks into these issues and improves the service quality.

We visited with family and kids, and the view here is easily the best I’ve seen in Pune - and I’ve been to many resorts. Absolutely top class. We stayed in the Ensuite Room at The Iconic, which was extremely clean and offered a beautiful view of the golf course. That said, there are a few visible issues that keep this place from delivering a true 5-star experience: No lobby – The resort expects you to walk uphill repeatedly to access amenities. Even with kids, getting a cart is difficult. Apparently, carts are reserved only for golfers (HNIs), which may explain why not many families visit. Kids pool lacking basics – While they insist on swim caps and following all rules, there are no tubes in the kids’ pool. Guests are expected to bring their own, which is surprising since even basic resorts provide them. Food quality is mixed – Hi-tea snacks were underwhelming, à la carte dinner was fantastic, and buffet breakfast was just ordinary. I would have rated this much lower if not for the exquisite view and the indoor recreation options. The squash court was excellent, the dedicated kids’ play area kept our children entertained, and there’s even a quiet library for reading. Staff at the reception in both buildings could be more courteous, which would go a long way in enhancing the overall guest experience.

If we talk about the rooms against the value, there is no other hotel which offers the best value. Additionally rooms are very nice, clean and big enough. Location is only a concern. No issue of parking. You are not allowed to enter the golf area only authorised members will do If you want to play golf then there are two places which are paid basis for 30 mins around 600-700 rs with 50 balls Breakfast is good enough, not many options but the buffet is good and happy food. Very limited guests but peace is there and a recommended place to stay. Have a look at the photos...
