Absolutely Horrible Experience – Do NOT Book for Weddings! We had the worst possible experience at the Shelaton resort during a recent wedding function. First and foremost, none of the air conditioners were working — imagine hundreds of guests sweating through the ceremony and reception in unbearable heat. It was beyond uncomfortable and completely unacceptable for a venue of this supposed "standard." To make things worse, the hygiene was shockingly poor. The restrooms were filthy, and the general cleanliness of the venue left much to be desired. You expect a certain level of sanitation, especially when hosting a large, important event — Shelaton did not even meet basic expectations. The service was a disaster from start to finish. Staff were unresponsive, unprofessional, and clearly not trained to handle an event of this scale. Every small request took multiple follow-ups, and even then, half of them were ignored or forgotten. We were utterly disappointed and embarrassed in front of our guests. For the price paid, this was an absolute disgrace. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you're planning any important event — this place is not worth the stress, money, or frustration.

We recently had a family function at Shelaton Resort, and honestly, it was a really disappointing experience. From the start, things didn’t go well. The ACs weren’t working, and with so many people gathered, it got really uncomfortable. We kept asking the staff to fix it, but nothing was done properly. The food situation was even worse. The menu we had finalized wasn’t followed at all. Several dishes were missing, and the ones they did serve weren’t even discussed with us beforehand. On top of that, the food didn’t seem fresh - it tasted like it had been made well in advance and just reheated. Then we got to know that they served the food from the previous event in the afternoon. What really added to the frustration was that they still charged us for everything, even the items we never agreed on. Overall, the service was careless, and the whole experience left a bad taste. I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone planning an event.

Avoid Shelton Resort Amritsar for Weddings – Terrible Experience! I recently attended a wedding function at Shelton Resort Amritsar, and I must say it was an absolute disappointment. The quality of service was shockingly poor, and it completely ruined the event for many guests. The food quality was pathetic – it was tasteless, poorly prepared, and far from what one would expect at a wedding venue. On top of that, the waiters were extremely casual and careless. They showed no sense of responsibility or professionalism while serving guests, leaving people waiting for basic services. To make matters worse, there was absolutely no attention to hygiene. The standards were appalling, making the experience uncomfortable and unappealing. Such disregard for cleanliness at a large gathering is simply unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering Shelton Resort for a wedding or any event to rethink their decision. Don’t waste your money on a venue that doesn’t care about quality, service, or guest satisfaction. Look elsewhere for a more professional and reliable option.

I recently attended my brother wedding at this resort on 17th May and was really disappointed with the service. The air conditioning wasn't working at all in the resort , temperature for the day was 44 degree temperature which was unbearable and the waiters didn't seem to be paying attention. When I brought it to the management's attention, they didn't seem to care or offer any solutions. Given the circumstances, I expected them to have some backup plans in place, but that wasn't the case. To the owner or whoever is responsible,- you guys shows such a irresponsibility,incompetence and such a poor management Because of this experience, I wouldn't recommend this resort and wouldn't book it again in the future. Thank you

I booked this resort for my mother’s retirement party. We had a terrible experience. They are very unprofessional and uncooperative. The owner GURLEEN SINGH will make big promises but won’t deliver any of it. THE CAKE was served to the guests before the cake cutting ceremony. HYGIENE was so poor that i saw their manager picking up and eating food directly from the stall with bare hands. AIR CONDITION was not working for most the event and guests were sweating alot. They did not fix it even after continuous complaints. They did not serve food items as planned and withheld most of the dishes until the end.

Had a Bjp party meet here. It's a good place to host parties. Though the main hall is not too big, still it's a cosy place. It's easily approachable and 10 minutes away from Rlwy station

I would request Google to provide zero, so that I could rate Shelaton resort zero star. Every time I went to Shelaton resort,worse conditions occur. Chairs were worst and very uncomfortable. food was even very bad 🤮. I would never recommend any of my known to this resort.
