Sam Sand Dunes Desert Safari Jaisalmer

The desert camp was awesome. We stayed in a place called Winds Desert Camp. The rooms there were very clean with all the facilities including hot water. The food was also good. The cultural programs were wonderful and they showed their culture with all the traditional instruments and dancing. We also went to the Thar desert from there. The experience was awesome. Simply enjoyed and had great fun.

Pure veg food, Very tasty for our trip in December 2024. Enjoyed a lot with the entertainment programs and DJ night. Decent service and rooms. Totally recommend for families.

I visited the safari with my friends in November. It was an amazing experience with comfortable camps, good service and cultural events in the evening. The hygiene was maintained. The food was tasty and hygienic. We went jeep safari in the desert which was quite an experience for us. Everyone should try this atleast once. The camel ride in the desert is must. There are other activities as well. Do not miss the sunset in the desert. The Kalbeliya dance and other events were set up in the evening. It was so amazing to see culture, dance and music combined.

I recently stayed at Sam Sand Dunes Camp and had an incredible experience. The camp offers a perfect blend of comfort and adventure right in the heart of the desert. The tents are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. The camel ride through the dunes was a highlight, and the traditional Rajasthani cuisine served at the camp was delicious. The evening entertainment with local music and dance added to the magical atmosphere. Overall, Sam Sand Dunes Camp provides an authentic desert experience with top-notch hospitality. Highly recommended!

How’s this place rated a 4.5 is just unbelievable to me, we had a really below par experience here on the name of tourism. Don’t get fooled by the google rating or fake photos here. You’ll be disappointed to say the least. Below average rooms. Dirty and not maintained rooms. Evening snacks was a joke. Morning breakfast was average. Dance performances were ok. No heaters in the room. The water in the morning was cold. Even after running the tap water for several minutes.

Overall experience was fine... specially we enjoyed the Jeep Safari and Camel ride. However, we had to leave the desert a little prior to the complete sun set as the Jeep driver seemed to be in a hurry. The cab driver was good enough and helped us visit 2 other places while on the way. The stay was good but the performance was no where even near to the mark. Over-all we enjoyed the stay with the camel ride and safari. 🙂

Good experience Must go place in Jaisalmer Has many activities Camel safari, jeep safari, paragliding (just flying in mid air tied to a jeep, for 30secs,a bit risky) Bargain for activities They keep asking for tips and they only get satisfied with 100/200rs Food average, they have to bring everything from town area. Nights are very chilly. Rooms private, clean, bathrooms good

Such a nice resort in sam, Jaisalmer Owner and staff behaviour is nice. All facilities are available here. Must visit . Thanks Dungar saa for hospitality like family member.
