New Patel Desert Camp

Our stay at New Patel Desert Camp was decent overall. The desert location and cultural evening with folk music and dance created a nice experience, and the camel ride added to the charm of visiting Jaisalmer. The tents were comfortable enough for a short stay, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, there is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall service. The food was average, and the hospitality could have been more attentive. With better management and a greater focus on guest experience, the camp has the potential to offer a much more memorable stay. Overall, it's an okay option for those looking to experience the desert, but some improvements would make it a much better destination.

Very bad experience at New Patel Desert Camp, Jaisalmer. The owner behaves very rudely like a goon and doesn’t respect guests at all. The tents are in terrible condition — full of mosquitoes, no cleanliness, and no service provided. Totally disappointed and not worth the money. Avoid this camp if you want a peaceful stay.

Whoever reading the ratings, please do not come here to stay. The people are scammers. Firstly, they will take booking by the name of 'Jodhani camp' and then move you to this camp. They will ask you for payment even if you are not staying there. Same thing has happened with me very recently. I went to visit the camp and didn't like it. So, told them the same and they start saying we have to pay the charges for this. Also the location and the people are very scary. Don't go there!!!!!

I recently stayed at New Patel Desert Camp, Jaisalmer, and my experience was quite disappointing. The pictures shown at the time of booking looked completely different from the actual place. It’s really not worth booking if you are going only by the photos. We booked through another person who also did not share proper details. The amenities were not good, the food was just okay—not great—and even the cultural program was not energetic or enjoyable. There was hardly any crowd, and the location is very inside from the main road, which makes access difficult. The jeep safari and camel ride included in their scope were also not enjoyable at all. Another major issue is that the booking is non-refundable, so you should think twice before finalizing. My sincere suggestion: If you plan to visit, please first check the place physically and clarify all terms clearly before booking.
