The Yellow Stone Luxury Resort

This resort is absolutely not family-friendly. The service culture was very poor and unprofessional. The overall environment felt uncomfortable and unsafe for families. There was an open drunk culture throughout the resort. People were drinking alcohol openly in common areas, and many guests were visibly intoxicated. What was most disturbing was that drunk guests were abusing loudly and using foul language openly, with no action taken by the staff. The management did nothing to control this behaviour. Instead of a peaceful resort atmosphere, it felt chaotic and unpleasant. We expected a decent, respectful environment, but the culture was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this resort to families or anyone looking for a calm and respectable stay.

It was an amazing experience being in Jaisalmer and I think our holiday has become memorable because of the exceptional hospitality by yellow stone resorts. ||I will try to detail out my overall experience.||||Booking process||While I started searching for resorts/camps in Jaisalmer, I was not getting convinced with some or the other things that each resort was providing or missing (like some had cemented or iron beds, hot water till 11 am only etc.) even when they had a rating of 4.5 or above on TripAdvisor.||One day while browsing on booking.com, I saw Yellow stone resorts and their pictures ticked all boxes like a proper 3-4 star category room with tiled floor, proper wooden bed with side tables, a clean toilet with a dedicated geyser etc. Though considering difficulties to source things in remote area like Sam desert which is approx.40 kms far from Jaisalmer and comparing to facilities provided by other 4 and above star rated camps, pictures looked too good to be true but the deal I was getting on booking.com made me to book it then and there since it was offering zero cancellation fees till last date. ||||We were two families with 3 small kids and one being just an year old, I wanted to be really sure that I get what I have booked for since I was still skeptical as I said that pictures looked too good to be true and also there were not many reviews on TripAdvisor for Yellow stone resort. I think they had only 5-10 reviews at that time but all were good so I started searching for someone to contact and I managed to connect with Khushboo who is the owner of this resort who gave me further assurance that I will get exactly what is shown in pictures. She even offered me a great deal and an overall all inclusive package with activities like jeep safari and camel safari so I cancelled previous booking and booked directly through them and I must say that, from there my booking experience has been so smooth as Khushboo has been helpful throughout and further gave me assurance by sharing more details and other refrences about resort.||||Room||With all the assurance I had from Khusboo, still somewhere back of my mind I was prepared that I will not get exactly what was there in pictures so we reached on afternoon and checked into our rooms and I was amazed to see every small thing in room exactly as in pictures and even all the furniture etc. was actually new with flawlessly clean bedsheets, blankets and towels which was really a relief 😊.||||Resort||As I said, there are lot of 4 and above star rated resorts and no offense to them, they must be providing good experiences as well to their guests but at the same time, some of my friends were staying in one of them and the difference I could observe were really big especially when you are with family but you won't really know until you experience being in a resort like Yellow Stone.||For example the space and area of Yellow stone resort is really huge and there is a good distance/gap between two camps/tents and not like multiple tents in row with very small or no gap between tents. Even each camp was like a dedicated structure. See my pics to understand what I want to say really 😊.||Even the total no. of tents was not that much considering the space in resort which actually made to feel it a resort with huge open space and we never felt it crowded even though it was fully booked and occupied every time whereas other camp that I visited had comparatively less open space and even sharing their cultural program space with adjacent camps which made it feel so crowded even in day time.||||Food||Food was just ok and I won't say it was exceptional as you will get almost similar in terms of food in each camp considering they being in a remote area so it was acceptable but what was important is that they catered to each of our demand for example, arranged lunch on the day we arrived and prepared non-veg in dinner specially for us on our demand since they don't serve it in buffet and I must say, that meal was the highlight of our trip as I am actually a vegetarian(read egg-etarian) and only my cousin wanted to eat that non-veg but I literally could not resist eating that day and just loved it.||||Activities||All the activities they arranged for us like Jeep Safari, Camel Safari etc and even dinner on sand dunes was really great and my family had an awesome time.||||Hospitality||I want to rate really 5 out of 5 star in hospitality specially to Khushboo and her Husband who were always there to cater to our every small request.||They even arranged for Sheesha(hooka) on our last minute special request.||Their staff are also hardworking, nice and always on their toes to serve you and I would like to specially mention name of Sanjay and another guy who we called Khan Saab😊 as they were always just a call away.||||Overall I would say that when you are on holiday in such remote locations, you should be prepared for small glitches and should not be always complaing for small things like delays in delivey etc. instead appreciate the efforts and pain hotel and their staff are taking to fulfill all your requests and then you will not only enjoy your holiday but hotel and staff will also enjoy hosting you. Cribbing for every small thing will only spoil your holiday.||||I just wish Khushboo and entire staff of yellow stone resort good luck for future and would love to be there again.

Worst stay of my life – please avoid Jaisalmer Yellow Stone Luxury Resort This place is an absolute disaster and should never be called a luxury resort. Everything about Jaisalmer Yellow Stone Luxury Resort was disappointing, unhygienic, and poorly managed. Camp/Tent Quality: The tents were in terrible condition – torn, worn out, and badly maintained. They looked old and unsafe, nothing like what is shown online. Definitely not suitable for families. Bathrooms: Worst bathrooms ever. Extremely dirty, poorly cleaned, and badly designed. The water was salty and filthy, making it impossible to bathe or even wash properly. Basic hygiene standards are completely ignored. Bed Quality: Beds were very uncomfortable with low-quality mattresses, making it hard to sleep. Definitely no comfort after a tiring desert day. Food Quality: Food was below average and disappointing. Taste was poor, options were limited, and hygiene was questionable. For a so-called luxury camp, the food quality was unacceptable. Water Issue: Salty and dirty water was a major problem throughout the stay. This alone is enough reason to avoid this place. Welcome & Hospitality: There was no proper welcome at all. Staff seemed uninterested and untrained. Hospitality was missing entirely, which is shocking for a tourist destination like Jaisalmer. Overall, this resort is overhyped, misleading, and not worth the money at all. It feels like a complete scam targeting tourists through fake reviews and promotions. I strongly recommend travelers to stay away from Jaisalmer Yellow Stone Luxury Resort and choose a better, cleaner, and more professional place.

Today....... I think to well sorrow you ..... But in jaisalmer the yellow rerort is good one all our good one... Not, kohinur and not payel desort..... I like it , and are banchmet we met with him him are telling about this resort.
