Welcomhotel By ITC Hotels, Kences Palm Beach

We enjoyed our experience getting married at the Welcomhotel Kences! We had our wedding at the outdoor lawn venue in August with the backdrop of the beach. The site was stunning and the venue was spacious. Mr. Jayasuriya and his staff were professional, responsive, and polite every step of the way in planning and executing the event. We were extremely grateful for how hard the staff worked to give us a great experience, and it allowed us to be stress free and enjoy our big day. To add to that, the food was fabulous and the accommodations for our guests were very comfortable. ||||Wanted to give our warmest gratitude to all the hotel staff that were involved in making our wedding happen. I would highly recommend this hotel as a wedding venue for anyone considering getting married in Chennai!

ITC Kences was recommended by a friend. While we didn't have any expectations, we were confident it is an ITC group hotel, and being an elite member, they would provide us with an experience to remember.. We are rating this overall 4 stars and below is the segmentation: Rooms: we got our stay upgraded to private villas and got room 5007. This room is on the sea shore (literally). The view is amazing, you can hear waves throughout the stay. Accessibility to sea is just a small jump. The room was well furnished, however the bathrooms were a bit underdone. The cleanliness of the room could have been better and the access to the common sink could have been better. The patio and the balcony are the lovely feel of this room Service: off the many staff we met during our two nights stay, the folks at the shack and the security team were really good. They were good listeners and had recommendations for our queries. However we felt the staff who were catering to the rooms could have been a bit more polished. They were not able to understand one simple ask, "we do not use bottle (plastic) water and hence pls keep Glass water bottles or jug at the room". Location: it is a bit far from the main city, but that gives the edge for them. It is clean and calm.

The Hotel is really good. The campus is beautiful with pool, beach, indoor games and best halls. The services are top notch. People are all respectful and kind. The only con is the location. It's really far away in nowhere. Almost 60 km from Chennai town. All in all, a lovely stay and lovely experience.

Stayed for a night. Surely not worth for money. There is no valet service, buggy without drivers, need 5 minutes walk for your breakfast which is good. Dinner buffet menu @1800+18%GST+5% Service. Average, not much options, no chat items. Room is good for 2 persons, TV did not work, poor WiFi connection at the room. Importantly ITC signature is completely missing in every aspect.

Good for family stay . Kids enjoyed pool and private beach is good. Reception staffs was helpful throughout bablu ,Shreya ,Sejal ,Aditya all supported well.||||From the time of check-in and check-out all the required help and sevice was on time . The stay was supported by the staffs over all. No challenges faced. Thank you team.

The Resort is located at a beautiful place. The beach is so mesmerizing which can be accessed from the Resort back gate it's kind of Private beach. Landscape is stunning with variety of flora and fauna. Rooms are well appointed with lovely view of garden. Excellent service by very polite and courteous staff. All the Buffet laid out had sumptuous choice for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian people. The Sea food at Nammo cafe was scrumptious and heavenly. Overall excellent experience everything was perfect

Stayed for a couple of days here Property is nice with access to beach Rooms are average size, there are beach facing ones which may be bigger. But for a couple with kid it's good enough. Staff were very good and courteous Room services were reasonably prompt Other than Swimming pool there may not be really much to engage for activities Breakfast spread is quite elaborate and goos choice of order to cook ones like dosa. Taste and quality was also good
