Ramraj Resort, Kanyakumari

We recently stayed in the resort for two nights. Room was big, bathroom was neat and clean. However they provide very basic amenities only. Even the milk powder was not provided with the tea kit.

Rooms are good. They were accommodating for special requests. Breakfast wasn't great. They refused to give an extra vada to the customer who asked. There was no hot water during the day time. You'll get only in the morning and that too it was luke warm not even warm. For early morning hot water, they got us in buckets. The surroundings were good and maintained well.

Very well maintained rooms. Near and clean. Located in the main road but a bit away from city centre. But located very near to the tourist attractions. I would say this is not exactly a resort. Its a hotel kind of property with 4 villa rooms.

Ramraj hotel looked neat and was truly worth the money. We were particularly impressed with the level of hospitality we received from the staff especially Mr. Murugesan who were both accommodating and friendly. Additionally, the food was delightful. It was a pleasant surprise and contributed to an overall enjoyable experience. Thank you for your excellent service.

What a lovely location and a beautiful resort! The rooms were wonderful and neatly decorated. The campus and the serene environment is quite impressive. Breakfast aspect (cleaning periodically after people are done eating) and finding room service for a coffee or tea was not possible. If improved in those areas, it’d be great!

Stayed with family for two days on vacation during Sep 2024. Plus : a. Newly built(2024), so rooms are neat and tidy b. 1.5 km from center c. Hotel staff were kind and helpful Minus : a. Rooms were cramped and not spacious to accommodate a family(2 adults and 2 grown up children) b. Solar Hot water system is not effective, we did not get hot water during our entire stay c. Breakfast is awful, pls avoid having breakfast in the hotel d. Parking space is very limited, could hold 5-10 cars max e. For the price they charge, they can improve on amenities and have in house restaurant

It’s a new property, so rooms were neat and tidy. Hotel staffs were kind and helpful. The water heater was not working. The centralised AC was not working in one of our rooms but was fine in the other rooms. The breakfast served was not good at all, only the sweet kesari was good. Parking space is limited up to 7 cars max. Most importantly there is no in-house restaurant. I went with my one year old kid and suffered to buy milk. We only have to use Swiggy or Zomato.. which will take at least 45 mins to reach. We had to travel 1-2 kms for Coffee and milk. We reached only by 8pm and wanted to have a discount since we will be leaving early the next morning and stay only for the night but the receptionist didn’t agree to reduce even a small amount. For the price they charge, they can provide more amenities.

We had a wonderful stay in Kanyakumari at Ramraj resort, as a family. It is a new property and is maintained very clean. Their hospitality was also excellent, and they are very eager to know our suggestions and improve the quality even more. We were very happy to find such an awesome stay in Kanyakumari. It was so serene, away from all the mad rush noise. This will be our go to place for staying, if we visit again with family and/or friends! I highly recommend Ramraj Resort!
