I had a wonderful stay at Country Club Valley Vista! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a great view. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile, which made my stay even more special. The food was delicious with good variety, and the overall service was excellent. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway, surrounded by greenery and fresh air. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, good hospitality, and a memorable experience.

Country Club Valley Vista is located quite far from the city center and main attractions of Kodaikanal. If the primary plan is to rest and relax inside the resort, this place might work, but it is definitely not ideal for travelers wanting to explore or do daily sightseeing. The resort is about 6 to 8 kilometers downhill from Kodai city, and the main road connecting it to the city is notorious for heavy traffic. This caused significant disruption to our itinerary, with two days of sightseeing largely ruined due to long traffic jams. We covered fewer places than expected and returned to the resort late at night. For anyone planning to explore Kodaikanal daily, this is not a convenient location and should be avoided. The resort itself is quite small and offers very limited recreational facilities, unlike larger resorts in the area. It is more suited for guests who prefer to stay indoors and rest rather than needing extensive outdoor activities or entertainment options. The in-house restaurant’s menu was very limited and overpriced. Around the resort, there are no other dining options, so the resort takes full advantage of this monopoly by charging premium rates. For example, even a small portion of plain white rice costs over ₹150 plus tax. We ended up paying nearly ₹700 per person for a simple meal consisting of rice and chicken curry. Unfortunately, there are no alternative eateries nearby, so guests must pay these high prices if they want to eat on-site. Overall, due to its remote location, heavy traffic issues, limited facilities, and expensive food options, I do not recommend Country Club Valley Vista for anyone looking to enjoy Kodaikanal fully. The resort does not offer the outdoor facilities and ease of access that one expects from a true resort experience. It is neither ideal for sightseeing nor suitable for a relaxed, activity-filled holiday.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely Memorable Stay at Country Club Valley Vista, Kodaikanal! Our recent stay was nothing short of delightful. A huge thank you to Mr. Gopi, the manager, for his warm hospitality and personal attention throughout our trip – he ensured every little detail was taken care of! Special compliments to Head Chef Mr. Sushant – the food was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared every day. Kudos to junior chefs Soundarya and Dharshana for adding such flavor and love to every dish we enjoyed. The reception staff were courteous and ever-smiling, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. Also want to appreciate the helper boys, who were always ready to assist with luggage, room service, and even guiding us around the property – truly commendable service! The scenic views, cozy rooms, and excellent team made our holiday memorable. Would highly recommend this place for a relaxed and well-cared-for experience in Kodaikanal!

I visited Kodaikanal with my family from 21st Jun till 27th Jun and stayed in Country club valley vista. I was very skeptical when i booked the resort through country club as member.|But i was very pleasantly surprised with the location of the resort which is the best in my opinion. Its located a bit away from Kodai town but thats what makes it special. I initially booked Standard room and was upgraded to double rom with nominal cost which helped immensely since the stay was for 6 nights/7 days.|I opted for Bfast + Lunch/Dinner option and was very satisfied with the quality and hygiene of the food. My special thanks to Sushant who was very caring and helped us a lot in everything related to food.|The whole resort was Non smoking and it helped families in making stay comfortable.|Only one missing point, there is no attached Bar! |Overall, i would be very excited to visit the place again and would also recommend to anyone going with families or group.|Thanks to all the staff of the resort who are very professional and hard working to make guest's comfortable.|Cheers,|Madhusudhan Dammur

We stayed for 2 nights at Kodaikanal Country Club and had a very poor experience. The first night the room smelled like sewage, sheets and towels were unclean, and Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. Even after escalation, the replacement room had issues (kettle not working). The place is not kids-friendly either—there were no basic amenities like a stool or even toilet tissues. We had to keep calling reception for essentials, and our concerns were not taken seriously. The only positive was the good food at the attached restaurant. Overall, very disappointing stay and would not return.
