Tamarind Tree Resort, Achakarai, Masinagudi

I had an amazing stay at Tamarind Tree Resort in Masinagudi! The resort is surrounded by beautiful greenery and feels so peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We stayed in one of their cottages, and it was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The room had all the basic amenities we needed, and the staff made sure everything was well taken care of. The in-house food was really good, The staff were super friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. We loved walking around the property and enjoying the quiet jungle surroundings. there’s so much nature to enjoy, birdwatching, spotting small wildlife, or just relaxing in the open spaces. Overall, Tamarind Tree Resort is a perfect place to unwind and connect with nature. I would highly recommend it for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful escape in Masinagudi!

​I recently had a wonderful stay at The Tamarind Tree Resort and wanted to express my sincere appreciation. Everything about my visit exceeded expectations, creating a truly memorable experience. ​The hospitality was exceptional from the moment I arrived until I departed. Every staff member was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely focused on guest comfort. ​The food was a highlight of the trip. The meals were consistently delicious, fresh, and offered a great variety of options. ​A special note of thanks goes to Manu, the manager. His leadership is clearly reflected in the high standards of service, and his personal attentiveness ensured a smooth and enjoyable stay. ​Finally, spotting deers within the campus was an absolute delight and added a unique, tranquil element to the resort's atmosphere. ​Thank you to the entire team for providing such a great getaway! The stay was extremely comfortable, and the staff made sure everything was well taken care of. My wife felt so happy and special on her birthday, which meant a lot to us. The ambiance, cleanliness, and service were excellent, making our short trip very memorable. Definitely a place we would love to visit again. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this property in September 2025 and below are the review details: Room: we stayed at frist floor cottage, the cleanliness of the cottage room and toilet was excellent, bed line was also clean, the quility of the bathroom fittings, bed, and other fixtures was excellent, so for cleanliness 10/10. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner: we opted for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and to our surprise all the food was very tasty, they provide good spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the only thing happened with us on the frist day lunch was that they provided ala carte not buffet, when we asked they told that for lunch there are less guests so we are not arranging the buffet Lunch, so on this We just asked them to provide this information to guest in advance so they will be prepare for this, but otherwise the food was excellent throughout the stay. And one more thing regarding the food is that they can't server the food at Tamarind resort, they are having another resort nearby named as Labdhi Resort which is around 300 to 400 meters from this resort here they provide the food, so you should have your own transport to reach there, as it's not advisable to go by walk for dinner due to wild tusker and animals, also the resort will inform you not to go outside of the resort after 4 pm, because the whole area comes under forest. Parking: they are having dedicated parking for each cottage at Tamarind and at Labdhi Resort they are having ample car parking. Location: the location of the Tamarind is little bit away from mountain view, but you are able to see mountain from the frist floor of your cottage, when we were there we have seen the group of deere just near to our cottage, so the location is very good. Hospitality: All the staff is very cooperative ( reception, housekeeping ad well as restaurant). One thing to note down is that owner of the property is very responsive and he address the issue very promptly which is very good.

Very good place to stay. Make sure you have own transport. You’ll have the feel of staying inside the forest, which is anyway true. The service is very good. Food you need to go nearby resort which is 500-700 metres sways and recommended to use own transport. Good place to spend a day or two with your loved ones.

If you want to avoid the noisy town and enjoy the nature, this hotel is what you're looking for. You can enjoy many wild animals even from the balcony. The manager is very kind and will help your stay. I was lucky enough to have a drink with the property owner with a glass of rum and a pleasant breeze. It was an amazing evening.

We had a wonderful time here rooms were clean, excellent interiors and bathroom Food was delicious (breakfast is must have) Staffs were very helpful Deers roam in front of the rooms
