NillStarted as a random visit to this 2011 and the experience was deeply etched in mind and made me chose it again in 2018 and have been visiting every month since then. This place has a charm that most of wildlife enthusiasts would be fond of. Starting from the buildings, furniture and food, everything has an aura, an ideal jungle lodge would offer. In addition to that, the people here are the ones who make you come again and again. They pamper you with their warm hospitality and their never say attitude. Exemplary service should be attributed to the owners of the property, Mr.John and his son, Roshan who are well versed with the area and provide you with all the comfort you seek. Talking about the property, they have well appointed rooms with linen. Rooms are large and spacious. They may be simple but they serve the purpose. Food is delectable however it differs from an individual taste bud persay. The attraction is the watch tower, where you can spend hours together watching wildlife that come to the artificial waterhole and salt lick. Have patience and you'll be rewarded suitably.

★★★★★Ever since I was a toddler, Wild Haven was the go-to destination for a vacation. My uncle Rajesh was a good friend of Mr John and loved wildlife and the woods. He would organise family get-togethers at the resort and we would stay for at least a couple of days with cousins and family friends. We would wait for hours at the pit waiting for wild animals with binoculars and look at animals playing in water which made us(cousins) ask Mr John for a pool of some sort and he would tell us that he would build a swimming pool everytime we visited but later when we grew up we realized that it was not an apt decision(which Mr John knew) and would have invited vandalization from wildlife, especially elephants, witnessed .at nearby resorts and villages. ||||I have witnessed the resort grow into its glory that it is in today. The building of additional cottages, watchtower, fencing, etc without disturbing the wildlife or changing the aura of staying in the middle of the jungle. The view of hills is a sight I have never and can ever get enough of. Trekking and safari is something not to be missed. The brilliant food and hospitable staff have always made the stay a memorable experience to cherish and a pulling drive to visit again. One of the most loved and amazing experience is sitting next to a bonfire at a freezing night under the twinkling stars having barbequed food and listening to Mr John's stories while deer and other wildlife walked nearby. ||||I believe a large part of what Wild Haven is today is due to the love Mr John has earned over the years catering to his guests with his welcoming and well-disposed attitude. For us, going to wild haven is like visiting a relative and I hope it stays that way.

NillSimple and a very beautiful resort. You can feel in sync with nature at this place. In the night, deers come very close to the cottages to graze (and if there is lighting during that time you will be able to clearly see the herd). Very humble staff and well kept rooms. If you are a nature lover this is a place you cannot miss staying at.

★★★★★Wild Haven has been a place my family has been visiting for over a decade now. The place has a warmth that is rejuvenating. The cabins are clean and the place is fresh. The hosts, Roshan and John Uncle, are welcoming and accommodating. I stayed here recently with my two girlfriends. the staff were respectful of our privacy to have peace and be lost in nature as well as were mindful to enquire if we needed anything.||I was in love with the sun in Masinagudi and did not miss a single sun rise while I was there. The view from the watchtower while the sun rises is magical. We were also lucky to have spotted a few residents - a herd of elephants, deer, bison and tail of a retreating leopard :D ||Well, all in all, Wild Haven has become synonymous with Masinagudi, green, escape, Rivaldo (the big boss :), sun, vacation, hideout, friendship, freedom...

★★★★★The title says it all, this truly is a home away from home. Delicious food, clean and cozy rooms, hospitable staff and serenity at its best. I've made multiple visits here and it keeps me going back again and again. The watch tower also provides a beautiful place to relax and spot a lot of wildlife, perfect for anyone who enjoys wildlife, photography or just plain peace and tranquility.

NillThoroughly enjoyed both our stays, once with family and later with a set of biker friends. Right in the middle of a jungle, not the kind of place if you are looking for luxury but clean comfortable rooms. Good food, reasonably priced, very friendly and courteous staff. Ideal if you want to get away from the city for a day or two. Very popular with my biker friends.

NillA quiet space for some lovely wildlife spotting. Located close to Mudumalai, Bandipur and Ooty. It has clean cottages with their own sit out. A watch tower that over looks a water tank is the perfect spot to set up watch. The foods good, and the staff warm and hospitable. We had a perfect little break!! Thanks Wild Haven
