I was a regular customer here for the past 16 years. The owner babu is a good friend of mine. Now they lesseed the property. The lady Indrani never picks the phone or most of the time it would be not reachable . If u enquire for availability of rooms on weekends from Monday to Wednesday she usually says it's sold out. Then she would call on Friday and say we have rooms for the weekend. Last time we informed and came. since the gate was locked we waited for nearly a hr and she didn't pick up the phone so we booked the resort next to it in runnel view. Now they blame on us that we booked and never came. Such a cheater lady. Never seen a worst women ruining the trust we had for the past 16 years. This resort won't improve unless they kick out such person. Another person Benjamin who we spoke on phone said that we booked the room and never came. The property owner babu knew us very well for the past 16 years we never made a single issue over the years . The guy Benjamin said over phone to better not book customers like us and not attend our calls and to avoid such type of customers. To Mr Benjamin customers like us gave business to this place all these years if u had any doubts on us ask Mr. Babu . Anyone who books the room Better be prepared for the worst. U may be get all sort of insults.

The place is so peaceful and surrounded by greenery. If you are looking for peaceful environment to enjoy the nature, this is the place. The staff are so friendly and make you feel like home. The rooms are spacious and kept very clean. Don’t miss the water stream behind the property. The rates also economical and if you travel in group you get best deals. Overall, we had good experience and we would like to come back here.

If you are looking for a good change and want to escape the hustle & bustle of the city, this is a really good place to spend your vacation/weekend with your Family and friends. We had a wonderful stay at " THE BANYAN TREE". The Environment and the atmosphere are fantastic. Help us to refresh. Rooms are perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed their delicious Food. Fully Home made and Hygienic. Not only our kids as a adults we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Waiting for our next vacation to admire more!!! Perfect place for a nature lovers.

This is a great area to spend a weekend or vacation with your family and friends if you're seeking a change of pace and want to get away from the bustle of the city. We had a fantastic time at "THE BANYAN TREE." The setting and ambiance are wonderful. Aid in our revitalization. Spaces are ideal. We had a great time eating their delectable meals. entirely handcrafted and sanitary. Our visit was enjoyable. Ideal location for those who like the outdoors.

One of the finest experiences I had all these days. This resort is snuggled in beautiful lush green and you can feel the fresh air everywhere. They priortize the safety and hospitality was commendable. Room was comfortable. Food was good. I felt the price was expensive, but it is worth the experience. We'll come again for the thrill.

This really is the jungle resort where nature lovers can truly disconnect and enjoy the peace that Masinagudi has to offer. This review is more from the heart of a wildlife enthusiast than someone expecting a typical resort stay. Sure, getting into the resort is a bit of an adventure, but that's part of the charm! After all, you’re in the wild, and luxury isn’t what you come here for. It’s perfect for those who love being close to nature. During my stay, I was lucky enough to spot a moose, some wildcats, and even deer just a short distance from the resort. It was magical! What makes Banyan Tree truly special is Benjamin (or Benji, as everyone fondly calls him). He’s not just the owner but a guide who lives and breathes the jungle. He helped us avoid the typical touristy scams like overpriced safaris and gave us real, genuine suggestions. His stories about the animals and the area were fascinating, and his animal-spotting skills are second to none. Benji also helped plan the perfect itinerary for us, so we never felt like we missed out. And I can’t forget to mention their sweet dog ‘kutty paiyan’—I definitely miss that friendly face! The nights there were pure magic, with the sky full of stars. Despite being in the heart of the jungle, the place felt incredibly safe and cozy, even with the sounds of wildlife all around. If you’re looking for an authentic, peaceful experience in the wild, with someone like Benji to guide you, Banyan Tree is the perfect escape. I can’t wait to go back!

Not worth for money.. Even they didnt provide any basic needs like water bottle , towel. Service is soo poor. They posted old photos in online for reviews.. rooms are also not that much neat Not suitable for family stay.. bachelors can manage

Not a single star for this property. Spent one day here. It's in a very isolated location, and the entrance road is terrible. Lacks a capability for backup power. Three hours of power failure in the middle of the night, making it difficult to fall asleep. Lack of sufficient lighting makes it feel like a haunted place at night. I've included both daytime and night-time images. You must contact the caretaker by phone only each time. There isn't a functioning intercom at the property to contact them, so you have to go 100 meters to get to the caretaker cottage. This home owner must hire a specialist to look after the visitors. Indarani, the caregiver, should not act in such a rude manner. I don't want to go into detail about it in the public domain. Moreover, her cooking was subpar. You can find delicious dining in nearby hotel settings for a reasonable price. The wash room ventilator glass are bit transparent it may feel uncomfortable. Dear home owner kindly understand the meaning of hospitality in market for competition. You're losing your credibility.
