KV river front resort

Beautiful location . pleasant stay for a reasonable price, we were 9 members including 4 kids in the middle villa. The staff were very friendly, The food was like a homely (pure naati style - hogenakkal style) prepared by the resort people. Their masalas were too awesome. The thing is we should get raw meat from outside. Outside drinks allowed. The fire camp was awesome, The cauvery river flow was very high and there was an outstanding view from the terrace. Outstanding place for family and friends.. overall I recommend one night stay.

Worst experience... I have never seen such a terrible resort. The bed was infested with insects. The water tank hadn't been cleaned for years, making it entirely unsafe for bathing. We gave them a big fish to cook and fry, but we received only a few pieces back. They didn't even care about the customers. There was a power cut during the night, and when we tried to wake them up to ask about the generator, they were drunk. There was no water the next morning to brush or clean ourselves. Please avoid this dreadful resort.

Pros: Nearby the river, can take bath with your family. staffs are very friendly and helpful. Cons: For room number 104, I paid Rs. 8500. The bed, cot, and blanket are all dirty, and the room is extremely messy. The room's AC unit isn't working, and almost all of the fans not working. Don't even think about playing with children in the useless children's play area. The toilet seat cover is broken and there is very poor maintenance. Families should absolutely avoid it.

The location is good, you will feel privacy enjoying swimming near the river side. But room service is very slow and room cleanliness is average. They will get food from outside which is also average. I got some good massages which you need to pay extra that is a must try in hogennakal. Must try: Oil massage River side bath Try home made fish food Tips: Buy alcohol from Bangalore or outer hogennakal border. There is no alcohol around 20 kms. Similarly there are no petrol pumps please plan that as well.

Best place to stay but heavy expensive i have ordered fish meals for afternoon only they charged me 1500rs and they will tell back side river in our resort but we cannot bath there because water is very dirty. Mr. Elango work is extraordinary if we call at morning 5.30 he will available. And massaging persons are cheaters nice place to stay nature lovers will enjoy.

The worst place to stay, no proper management and also no proper maintenance. Outsiders are staying there in case of no check-in. Bathroom doors are broken, no AC. Very unclean and a very bad smelling room.

If i had 0 rating i would have selected that the rooms were nice ,but the person in charge is a scammer ( Amsaraj ) this person told us he will prepare the lunch for 1500 and he would charge us 350 for preparation later part in the night he came to us and asked 900 rs fir Just preparation and he was adding the money even for Just a rice preparation , food was 1500 he told the preparation charge is 900 have never seen this and after taking the money they were least bothered about us or even what we asked ... I would recommend to take the rooms but never allow him to prepare food . 😡
