The room I got for 5,050/- per day and it's not worth it. It was just 1000/- worth room. This room is not suitable for families. This property can only serve the purpose of bed. Don't expect anything else from this. Just by seeing the photos uploaded by the owner and book the room. Because, there is lot of difference between the photos I saw before booking and real fact after I visited. Even I struggle a lot to take bath in the morning without hot water. I used kettle to make the hot water. Just think how horrible is this in the ooty temperature.

Privacy is good. Staff were polite during check in however they were rude during check out. Restaurant food was totally not worth for money and preparation time was too long. Cleanliness of the bed and pillows were very poor and even for drinking water we insisted several times and restroom cleanliness also very poor.

Rooms are very neat and clean and room service is really very good and the main thing the views are really nice giving peaceful vibes very cozy and peaceful atmosphere.. Really loved their room service which they will do every day.. Will recommend ..

1. The rooms were spacious and spotless 2.The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. 3. It was beyond our expectations/better than we expected. 4. The only disappointing thing was that food not met my expectation.other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back.

We( me and my wife) had a wonderful stay at coastal. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive and specially Jayakrishna , making us feel right at home. The breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious selection that set a great start to the day. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, if you come by cab(Ola,uber) the resort staff has a tie up with travels and they have a itenary as well. So it was very easy to travel and complete all the places near and far like coonor, pykara etc.. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Beautiful property at a very beautiful location.. View from the property is really worth it.. Staff were really helpful and available all time and specially Dinesh checked on our comfort through out the stay.. Over all very beautiful stay.. U get to witness tea estate and Karnataka garden right opposite to rooms..

We had been to the resort for about 3 nights & 4 days wherein we had availed the suite room that is located above the reception area. The views from the room were worth the money. However from my experience, I'd suggest booking the suite room for a day or two & moving to the cottage for the rest of the vacation since that seemed fancy as well. The place has its pro's & con's wherein the advantages were: - 1. It is located about 3.5 Km from the centre, hence proximity to go to other areas (tourist & eateries) seemed quite convenient. 2. As mentioned earlier, the views from the place are just breathtaking. 3. The Karnataka Siri Horticulture Garden is so close to the place, wherein you can reach it in about 2-3 minutes. We get to see the same from the room as well & the views are amazing. 4. The staff were hospitable. They also provide a 5 litre Bisleri can which can be converted to hot water (with the help of the machine in the room) given the chill climate in Ooty. It did have some con's like: - 1. Although it is mentioned that they provide WiFi, when we had been there, there was no WiFi connectivity itself, due to which we had to resort to the cellular connection (Jio & unsure about other network providers) which was luckily available. 2. In terms of the food, the quantity of meat (considering we had ordered non-veg) that they provide was slightly less wherein it was dominated by masala mainly. 3. The road that leads to the resort from the main road appears very bumpy & filled with loose gravel. With the road being really steep, it would be great if the road were reworked. I ain't sure if that part belongs to the resort, however there could be a collective effort done towards getting the same corrected. 4. Lastly, the staircase that leads to the terrace in the building holding the reception, & also the walls pertaining to the same had a lot of fungus formation. The management has to take care in not only keeping the exterior clean, but the interior as well. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience that we would cherish.
