Hotel Kumararraja Palace

The hotel is around 2-3 kms from the Yelagiri entrance or the boating area. The google maps location is accurate. The roads to the hotel are just so so but not too bad. The hotel is placed adjacent to few other hotels and opposite to a farming land. This resort is well maintained. The service was good. The rooms are decent size however the bathrooms could be maintained better and size could be a bit bigger. The swimming pool is well maintained. The hotel arranged for camp fire and puts some chairs and a movie on the projector. They made your evening perfect. It’s difficult to find decent food or restaurants in Yelagiri and hence we came back to the resort for food for all meals since we had kids with us. The food is the best part of the hotel. They offer buffet food and the taste is sooo good. The food also looks very hygiene. We had tried food for breakfast lunch and dinner and all 3 times they had very good menu and a very good taste. The hospitality is good. The WiFi could be better since there is very poor network reception. Overall I would definitely recommend for a weekend stay at this place.

I stayed at KumaraRaja Palace recently, and overall, the experience was quite average. Location & Accessibility: The resort is located a little interior and not very easily accessible. The approach roads are in poor condition and can cause scratches to your car’s underbody. There are no nearby shops for snacks or essentials—you either have to depend on the in-house restaurant or drive 2–3 km towards the boating area for options. Food: Food was limited in choice and taste, with only a few vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. If you’re vegetarian and particular about food, you may not enjoy it. During my stay, the resort had very few guests (only 3–4 families), so there was no buffet for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast served was also quite average. Rooms & Cleanliness: Rooms were just okay, with average cleanliness. Towels and toiletries did not feel fresh, and the absence of intercoms was a big minus. Additionally, some maintenance cutting work was going on, which created a lot of noise. Facilities & Activities: There are very few activities for kids. No cricket, shuttle, or tennis facilities are available. However, they do have a swimming pool along with swings and slides for children. The amphitheater was a pleasant surprise, where songs were played on request—we enjoyed that part. Positives: The swimming pool and amphitheater were the main highlights of our stay. Beyond these, nothing felt particularly special. Overall: A very average stay. With better food, improved cleanliness, kids’ activities, and easier accessibility, this place could become much more appealing.

Nice hotel in Yelagiri. With an old home like look. Swimming pool in the centre of the property. The rooms are a little more narrow and rectangular,but otherwise fine ..service is good Ground + 1 floor property. No lift. Good restaurant with food choices

Stayed here with family, and definitely lot of flaws in this hotel. They treat people differently if you book the counter in their counter and if you book through apps. We got one of the worst possible rooms in the entire hotel. No HOT WATER. if you are travelling with family, think over it. With the weather conditions, hot water is must and the front office is latest bothered. Cleanliness is something, we need to teach staffs here. They don't clean the corridors in the hotel for days, so much dirt in front door. I could see chicken bones, waste food, and no one just bothers. We booked deluxe room which could be some low class rooms in some other hotel. No class, horrible interiors, no class in the room. Only good thing is the restaurant, food is good and reasonable. Bottomline - stay some where else and come here only to eat.

Located in one worst corner of Yelagiri with connecting road to main town is very very bad,surrounded by small village with houses. Food is Good. Properly cooked and served nice way. Swimming pool must be closed in that location and create in some private area. Rooms constructed such a way as old hostel rooms

Resort was good, but room service was very very worst, Each n everything we have to go and ask them. Even they are not providing telecom service. There is one person in the kitchen I don't know his name. We are ordering food around 8 o clk, he tell ....will provide after the buffet started. Before that we can't. We have a small small child with us, we have to feed them, finally he brings food to room at 9 pm, 1st the Resort association should improve their service level. Then we have raised complaint to that hotel manager, he cal n ask them to provide at earliest. Then we go and ask that kitchen representative. He was murmuring about that manager like ... He doesn't know anything.

Decent hotel. Not too good. Not too bad. We were charged INR 4K for a room. Restrooms are not good. Service was very good though.

Very poor service overall. We had to wait for more than 1.5 Hrs to get the rooms to check-in. Had to literally ask for all basic stuffs which need to be in the room while check-in. Food options are limited. Approach road is in poor condition and single car width. No good view either.
