Cliffhanger retreat yercaud

A very decent place to stay if you have a big family. The place is clean and well maintained. It is not too far from the main city too. Only problem is that there is no good place nearby for lunch and dinner and neither are they provided by the hotel. Also, there are much better hotels available in Yercaud in much cheaper rate.

We stayed two nights in Cliffhanger retreat, in a single line it's worth the money. We loved the homemade food they provided. Thanks to Mr.Durai ( manager) and his wife. The room boy provided an awesome service from the beginning to the end. The taste and quality of the food was fantabulous. The location was near to all tourist spots, rooms were neat and clean.They were very kind and helped me out by allowing me to use their kitchen to prepare food for my baby who is less than an year old. In yercaud,if anyone wanted to enjoy a room which is budget friendly,safe and sophisticated then one could definitely go for it. Thanks again for the service Mr.Durai and Co.

Stayed here with my family recently and was disappointed at the rooms the rooms are very poorly maintained bathrooms were not clean and full of insects walls of the rooms were having moulds and the towels and beds were stained! No complementary breakfast provided these rooms deserve only 1000 a night at the best but they charged high prices ! Please chose other rooms and skip this place ! Only one positive of this location is it is walking distance from lady’s seat !

I spent 3 nights here and I can say this is the best and relaxing place in Yercaud to stay. I travelled with my 2 year kid and it's just like a family to me. Mr Durai and his wife taken care of us and all guests like own family members. This place is really recommended for anyone who wants to visit Yercaud and wants to stay. A to Z facilities are there and it was a great time spent in Yercaud. Really want to express my appreciations to Mr Durai for all arrangements. The best part is they have kitchen facility which I liked the most as my only worry was getting proper homely food for my kid. Apart from that amenities like parking, power back up, etc are at the top and behavior of each and every crew will make you feel homely. Also there is facility for sight seeing in open jeeps which will help you a lot to enjoy and explore the places. Thanks to Cliffhanger Retreat for making my stay pleasant.

There is a strong mold odor in the room, and murky yellow water is flowing from all the taps. The quality does not justify the amount charged.

Very good property with good ambience. Rooms are neat and clean and place is well maintained.Rooms are well furnished and kitchen is provided with fridge, oven, kettle, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. Food is very good and served from their in-house kitchen. Value for money. Manager of the property, Mr. Dorai’s hospitality is highly appreciable.Our friends group enjoyed the stay thoroughly. Recommend strongly to friends and families groups.

We stayed there for a weekend. Very nice reasonable home stay/resort. Pretty close to the lake and other tourists spots. Food was not included in our package. We ordered it separately and it was delivered to room. Room is equipped with most of the items required. Food was nice and homely. Around 4 to 5 cars can be parked inside the gate. The caretakers are very nice people. Only problem some elderly visitors might have is there are many stairs at the entrance. Other than that everything else is favorable.

We spent two nights in Cliffhanger Retreat Yercaud, and I can only tell that these were truly a nice time. The manager and and his staff were extremely kind in assisting us with all our requests, especially when we needed to catch a last minute bus to urgently go back Chennai. He accompanied the taxi driver that drove us from the hotel to the bus station, and waited for the bus to arrive to book tickets live as the online booking service was unavailable. Lovely personnel, great home made breakfast and meals, definitely a great place to be. Greetings from France
