Upvan Resort Corbett Best Wedding Destination

The resort is awesome. Remotely located almost near forest area. The cottages are spacious and neat and clean. The property is well maintained. You can roam around at night as well. Proper lighting was there. Food was delicious. We opted for buffet for breakfast, Lunch and dinner.5 to 6 items were served in each meal including the desert. Evening snacks and tea were also served in the garden area. We went for Holi celebration there. The arrangements were very nice. There were snacks, tea, coffee and other drinks. Kids enjoyed in the pool. The pool was neat and clean. The staff is humble and polite. The only issue was network connectivity. But if you completely want to stay away from hassles of city life for three days, it may not be a problem for you. The resort is also pet-friendly. Our dog enjoyed a lot. You can take your dog with leash to any area of the resort. There is no restriction. The only thing is you have to be careful at night. You should not leave your dog off leash at night. It is risky as leopards get active at night. Rest everything is great..💯

Booking was confirmed 2 months ago for a group of 15 pax. Maintaince of the property is below zero. When checked in, rooms not ready, later they cleaned the rooms and when got the rooms, AC not wroking, in bathroom flush not working. In my room AC was changed and after that the water lickage started till the end. This is not only in one rooms, bathrooms were in worst condition in all the rooms. In one room Ac burst while kids were in the room. Again they have changed the AC, no cooling in any of the rooms. Still we had to stay as we had aged people aslo with us, so, they cannot tavel again back and also due to long weekend, no hotels had 5 rooms available

Very nice property and location, its very far from the actual location provided, also property is not at all cleaned and maintained, as above mentioned that washrooms were not clean, lights were not working, AC are old and creating noise, bedsheets are stained, door knobs and locks were broken etc, food was ok, but had to wait for each meal or round of chapati, dinning area had raw floor and very dirty and dusty tables n chairs to sit. Overall experience was pathetic.

Right from the moment we entered till the time we checked out, the experience was surreal. We went there for New Year's celebration Amazing party was hosted by them in the heart of Jungle. Kudos for the chef n his team for preparing very tasty dishes....very friendly staff who were always ready to help. I recommend everyone to experience the beauty of Upvan wildlife resort.

My experience - checkin on the 12th and check out on the 14th.||Day 1 - checked in the hotel. Had booked 5 rooms but were offered 4 rooms. It went into an argument and then after speaking to the booking agent were given another room. Post check inn the rooms were not cleaned for ages. Requested for room cleaning and it took 2 hrs for the room cleaners to arrive. AC were not working in any of the rooms. When complained they said it is because of the summer heat it will take time. The staff had no idea about the booking so we got the buffet lunch at 4pm.||Day 2 - Two rooms had ac problem. It took an entire day for the ac to be fixed. No room cleaning. One of the rooms ac which replaced had water leakage which made the entire room full of water on the floor. They didn't had a replacement so it was like that the entire day.||Day 3 - At the time of check out. They had miscalculated and were asking for more money.||Mr Girish the manager and the owners should visit one of the good property and take lessons on hospitality. They are goons and bodybuilders who would extract money from you even if you don't want to stay there.||||WC in any of the bathroom was not working. You had to do it manually by filling up a bucket of water.||||The property staff claim that they are renovating the property but still my advice is STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRAP.||The other reviews are genuine but were posted when it was managed by V Resort

The property is really secluded for true wanderers and is vast and beautifully curated for those who want to explore kalagarh side of the jungle. Hospitality is top notch and food served is amazing with sheer caring staff. Loved how they have curated ever space in jungle feel yet everything is so organised

The property is large. has excellent chef that provides finger licking good food. Approach is a little wonky drive, but if you plan to detox yourself from mobile, this is a place to be. It's a great place to catch up with family and friends away from the city hustle. It's close to Ram ganga river and Jim Corbett National park with an abundance of tigers, deer, nilgai, fixes, etc.

We stayed at the resort for a weekend. The food was ok. The hotel staff while not great, was decent enough. The services were sub par. Though we had a great time, I would recommend this place to be a second option rather than the first. We had asked(and were promised) several things which weren't made available. The drinking water in the hotel was not refilled, rather the regular tap water was filled in the bottles already provided. The food wasn't great though not too bad. The linens were unclean. The hotel was decently maintained. There are several recreational activities though a few of them weren't ready for use. The swimming pool was more of a plunge pool which hadn't been cleaned for weeks.
