The Banyan Retreat

We had a two night stay. Location is fine. Rooms are really spacious with amazing greenery view. Room ac was not working, got it changed. The lightning at night is too amazing. Only negative aspect is that food is not that amazing. Variety is there but it is too spicy and we could not eat that food. Staff is really cooperative specially Ms. Meenakshi who really helped a lot in providing us separate food. She is really nice and her efforts are good. For kids pool, zip line and other kids play area activites are also there. Overall experience is 4 star out of 5.

Truly love the hospitality and dedication of the staff! It was a very comfortable stay and high-class. I also loved the ambience, with lush greenery and vivid, blooming flowers over the vast expanse of the property. There were so many birds (My fav: Weaver's birds) and a beautiful ecosystem around the central Banyan Tree. Loved the Stay!!!! 😁

I can't rate the Mulberry hut highly enough! I am a clean freak, and it is the first place in years that we have stayed that is actually clean!!! Sue does an amazing job in her presentation and hospitality. We even got a little visit from the Easter bunny 🐰 . The gorgeous breakfast and snack treats Sue supplied with the hut were amazing 👏 🤩 we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

I have booked Banyan Retreat resort for a 3 nights stay with my husband, kids and our pet dog but this happened to be the worst experience of my life. There was a Serious Privacy breach happened during our stay where the Housekeeping Manager unlocked and opened our room door when I was alone in the room and my husband and kids were out in Kids activity room. Fortunately, I was saved from an awkward situation by God's grace as I came out of bath just 5 min back. But this can happen to anyone and I found their staff highly unprofessional. On citing this incident to their Manager and owner, there was no action taken by them and I had seen the same Staff roaming in the property next morning. This property is completely unsafe for girls/females as anyone can open ur door with a Master Key and enter inside without any call. Especially, people who book these kind of properties for weddings, beware as ur jewellery and expensive belongings are at stake. When I asked the Owner what action they have taken for this worst experience, his manager 'Puran Adhikari' said that they have fired the guy and offered me 2 nights voucher in the Owner's presence for future bookings at any of their properties and asked us to clear the remaining amount of bill. On clearing the remaining amount and waiting for almost 45 min, their Manager 'Puran Adhikari' came and handed over a voucher for one night. On asking him what's that, he said we spoke about one night voucher only. He also said that anyways nothing much has happened but we are still giving you one night voucher. I left the voucher on the reception only and during all this Chaos, the hotel owner locked his room and went to sleep. They made us feel as if we are begging them for the Vouchers. I would highly suggest not to visit this hotel if you care about your privacy and security. Also, this property claims to be a Pet Friendly property however there are Stray dogs roaming freely in the property and one of them attacked my pet during our stay. The Owner took no action for that also and said that these strays live here only and are harmless.

The overall experience was wonderful and so was the food and ambience. The F&B team was genuinely putting efforts that we get everything fresh and at perfect time. The receptionist Khushbu was also very cooperative and polite. Totally worth the visit 👍🏻

We went there for a birthday celebration of my 1 year old grand son. Place was very beautiful. Services were awesome. Very well managed . Must visit. Highly recommend.

It is so relaxing and calm here. Amid the nature it heals something…. Property is huge and awesome. Service and food is also too good. Indoor and outdoor play area for kids along with swings. We all had an amazing stay here.

I had an amazing staycation at the retreat. It is a beautiful property with immense greenery around. Very quiet and calming. Services are top notch. Staff is very courteous.
