Shivaay Camp

We booked our room through travel namaste india. It was a very terrible experience for us.. Very less specious room for four people. Very lonely place. We visited here in oct 2022. Food was good. Camp is managed by only some young boys... Not professional behavior. You feel very awkward and uncomfortable. Safety issue is there. Not recommended. I sm attaching some pictures of that camp.

We had booked 9 rooms here. When we reached the location we were asked to take the rooms in some Narayana hotel which they claim to be the RESORT. No courtesy to even atleast inform the customers about it. When we reached the location, the staff are least bothered to transfer the luggage to the rooms, we had to literally ask them to do so Rooms - Stinky and dirty bedsheets and blankets They were falling short of the rooms and tell us that instead of 9, take 8 with double beds.. is this the way different families will manage? Fans - The fans don’t work in most of the rooms and they have the audacity to say that it’s cold so you would not need fans…… would they decide if we need it or not???? Bathrooms - Leakage and smellly washrooms. When you tell them that there is a leakage , they say that they didn’t get the washer, is it my problem? Why book the room in the first place? Food - No taste in the food, no water bottles… And they say it’s a resort… Please think twice before making your bookings…. It’s a total scam!

Staff behaviour is not good. Needs improvement. Vipin Bisht is good person but staff is non cooperative. Food average. Tent accommodation is good. Location is about 2.5 Km from market area. It is an isolated place above the hills. Good for camping. But not for hotel services.

I was accomodated here during Kedarnath visit. One can find the most pathetic & worst service here. The staff act like they are deaf & dumb when we request for anything. No power since 4am on the day of our checkout. Owner is least bothered about the service, staff & cleanliness in the premises. Done be fooled by the photos which are enhanced using photoshop. Not worth paying a penny.

Location itself has very nice and beautiful vibe but falls little outside the kedarnath route, just make 10-15 min extra available, and enjoy the place service was very nice, camps are clean and comfortable, food was also good

Very rude and unprofessional staff which didn’t cooperate at all when asked for towels and warm water. They studpidly replied that one towel per room. Even if you are more than one guest. And the food was so pathetic with watery dal. Won’t recommend to anyone.

Worst service .. tents are good but heaters doesn’t work…. The tents do have foul sm smell … The food is served very late and also the person who serves doesn’t understand anything and for every we ask for the answer is either no or not available or they nod and never get what we asked for…. Tea is asked for and served very late..!!

Good host who accommodates guests request and flexible with food timings. Basic food like Roti, Mixed sabji, Daal Chaaval but tasty and served hot.
