Why I loved it (detailed): Location & first impression From the moment we arrived at the property on Neelkanth–Silogi Road (Mohanchatti) the view took over: valley and mountain panoramas framed the whole property, and the resort feels intentionally placed to make the scenery the star. It’s peaceful but still easy to reach from Rishikesh. The setting alone felt like a real Himalayan reset. Accommodation — cozy, characterful, and well thought-out We stayed in one of the premium bamboo cottages (they also have glamping/swiss tents) — the cottages look beautiful from the outside and are surprisingly comfortable inside: clean linens, functioning AC/cooler options, attached private bathroom, and a small private seating/veranda that overlooks the lawn and mountains. The rustic bamboo aesthetic gives real character without sacrificing cleanliness or basic comforts. If you want a “camping but with a proper bed” vibe, the glamping tents looked excellent too. Tips from my stay (so you get the best experience) 1- Book a Premium Bamboo Cottage if you want the full sunset view or mountain view cottage experience; glamping tents are perfect if you prefer a ‘camping but comfy’ option. 2- Bring a light jacket at night — the valley gets cool even in mild months. 3- Ask the owner about on-site activities (archery, pool time, kids’ games) and local short hikes; they’re happy to arrange things. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We recently visited The Jungle Mist Resort for our office trip, and the experience was absolutely incredible! Set amidst pristine nature, the resort offers a stunning 360-degree view of the mountains, creating the perfect peaceful escape from city life. A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Vivek Shukla ji, the owner, who was personally monitoring everything throughout our stay to ensure every detail was just right. He is not only extremely hospitable but also shares so many interesting facts about the mountains, nature, and the local surroundings, which added a whole new dimension to our experience. His knowledge and warmth truly made us feel connected to the place. Special appreciation to Suraj, Dharmendra, and all the other staff members, who were equally supportive, courteous, and professional. Their constant support and friendly behavior made our group feel completely at home. We stayed in the bamboo cottages, which were clean, cozy, and gave a lovely natural feel—making the stay even more special and connected with nature. The food was freshly prepared and tasted just like home. We also enjoyed music, games, and several fun team activities that made the trip both relaxing and memorable. Overall, the entire experience was full of beauty, learning, joy, and genuine hospitality. A Peaceful Paradise in Rishikesh – Highly Recommended for Families & Couples! Our stay at The Jungle Mist Resort in Rishikesh was nothing short of wonderful! Nestled amidst serene mountains and close to the sacred Nilkanth Mahadev Ji Temple, the resort offers a truly peaceful and refreshing experience. From the start, we were greeted by the owner, Mr. Vivek Shukla ji, who is not just friendly but also extremely helpful. He personally helped us arrange a cab to the temple, and especially for us, he had it called all the way from the city – a gesture we deeply appreciated! One of the standout features is that only families and couples are allowed – no stag entries – which keeps the atmosphere calm, respectful, and family-friendly. Our kids had a blast with all the play activities, swings, swimming pool, and even rain dance! The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious – just like home-cooked meals with a touch of local flavor. The staff was polite, warm, and always ready to help, making us feel truly at home. The natural surroundings, mountain views, and tranquil vibe made this trip unforgettable. This was my 3 visit to Rishikesh and though frequently i travel another hill stations but I think nowThe Jungle Mist would be my only favourite. Best for kids , have lots of activities and the staff is too good and the owner Mr. Shukla is so humble. Thank you so much for serving us and soon I'll be back and the last but not least best part is Pet friendly n my 🐕 had enjoyed alot too. The jungle mist see you soon.

I recently stayed at the jungle mist resort, and I must say it exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to suit every palate. Every meal was well-prepared and flavorful, making dining here a treat. The resort provides a safe and secure environment, which made our stay even more comfortable. We could relax and enjoy the surroundings without any worries, thanks to the well-maintained property and attentive staff. A special mention goes to the New Year party they organized—it was simply fantastic! The decorations, DJ Party, and entertainment created a lively and festive atmosphere. The countdown was unforgettable, and the fireworks display was the perfect way to welcome the new year.
