Swiss Cottage And Spa By Salvus, Rishikesh

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. Though beautifully located, the King Suite promised to us turned out to be extremely disappointing. Despite clear instructions before hand to ensure clean room and linen, we were welcomed with stained linen in a room with large windows but without any curtains. When asked to put curtains, they did a shoddy job out of it (pic att). Basic dusting in the room had not been carried out with dust lying on sofas, chairs and everywhere else possible as indicated in the photos. Despite repeated calls, no efforts were made to clean the room. Paint stained chairs and extremely dirty sofa where one could not even sit. We had no choice but to leave the hotel after waiting for two hours despite having paid almost Rs 5000 for a night with no scope of refund.

A wonderful place to stay in Rishikesh! I visited with friends and spent a couple of days here. The atmosphere is peaceful, the rooms are clean, and the rates are quite reasonable. While there’s no in-house kitchen, food options are available just a short walk away.

Despite being one of the more famous hotels in Rishikesh, the rooms do not do justice to the price. The rooms are poorly maintained and service is extremely poor. The only good thing about the property is the view of the mountains and the river Ganges. Overall it was an average experience staying at the hotel.

Pathetic room. Even worse staff and service. Don’t ever try this stay. Gave 5000 bucks for this place. Booking was done like a week before. The room was not even dusted properly no curtains damaged sofas, shitty linen stained and wet. Smelly rooms and washroom.

Had a wonderful experience here. The stay was pleasant, and our room was spacious with all basic amenities provided. All the services were prompt, and the food was perfect. Overall, great value for money.

I booked premium deluxe room with balcony ₹1800 and i feel that is worth it. Amazing stay, location was good far away from over crowded rishikesh city.This property doesn't have own restaurant We had our dinner at Bistro Nirvana just beside swiss cottage salvus. If you are interested to rent scooty and activities like river rafting You can discuss with the manager he will arrange.

DO BOT BOOK THIS PLACE EVER. Had the WORST experience.||1. The pictures shown are completely deceptive. We booked a standard room and they charged 2k for the room. It was not even worth 2k. The bedsheets were not changed. The bedsheets had cigarette butt holes in them. The rooms were filthy. Bathrooms were not clean at all. They proclaim themselves as a 3-star hotel. It’s worse than a 1-star hotel.||2. The staff is rude and room service is appalling. We asked for a bottle of water and they gave the bottle to us after 2 hours.||3. The food is very costly and the quantity is too less.||4. We gave the keys to our rooms for housekeeping in the morning. When we got back to the hotel at night, they didn’t even clean our rooms!||WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! It’s a scam. They will show you nice and aesthetic pictures. However, it is poorly maintained with dust all over and filthy and smelly rooms with rude staff!!!||Absolutely a waste of money!||I would have given negative rating, if there would have been an option!
