Excellent place to stay midst of jungle, Dam and hills. Staffs are very good , foods are Excellent. Views from the rooms are very pleasant and you can feel the silence. Elephant corridor is just 200 meters away and chou dance and tribal dance by locals are just awesome.

Went there at holi. Its a beautiful place. As its name aranya kutir given by the owner,it is truly surrounded by muruguma hills and forest. There are two stone cottage with three rooms at one side and two on the other. Muruguma dam is just 1.5 kmt away. The road infront of the resort is going towarda ajodhya hills, marble lake at one side and muruguma view point in the opposite direction. The service of the staffs are cordial. The serene beauty and the tranquility amazed me.

* excellent scenic beauty. * very adventurous place, near elephant corridor. * Calm and quiet place. Ideal for honeymoon couples as well as family and friends. * Spacious rooms . * Excellent service, homely behaviour. * Awesome food with excellent menu. * Arrangements were very good . Special care for elderly and sick person. * Charges are nominal. * Perfect short trip on weekends. * Arrangements of tour planning (sight seeing, Chou dance, trekking) according our preference were perfect.

We had our stay at this place on 10.02.24 with group of families. Our group was so big that we occupied all the 5 rooms and 1 tent. The location is good, the only reason we chose this place. But most of the rooms are utter disappointment. The window panes have huge gaps from which cold wind , mosquitoes and bugs enters the room (as the place gets quite cold almost 10 degrees at Night) . We had babies with us, and most of them along with some adults got sick because of cold.The rooms were not clean at all , full of mosquitoes, spider, and dust all over place. The booking was done well in advance but the basic things like handwash and cleanliness was missing. Rest food and service is okay for the price we pay. But rooms do need improvement. The bed is also very small, not even suitable for couples and with babies it was horrible. Would not recommend this for families. For bachelors, this place is okay.

Excellent place to stay at Murguma, Purulia. You can enjoy the silence of nature surrounded by Dam, hills ang jungle. Foods are Excellent, behavior of the staffs are good. Scenic beauty is wonderful. You can enjoy your holidays here.
