Jol Chobi Eco Resort

We stayed for 5Nights . It has only one unit ( 2 bedrooms + 1 Living area + Dining room) but quite spacious and safe place even for family.The service given by the care taker was excellent. One limitation is that it doesn't have kitchen and care taker has to arrange all meals from outside. The outside food is just very average. If your want to visit for comfort it is good place but if you are a foodie, this place is not for you. The only request to the owners is that they should quickly rectify the small technical issues. ( Eg . Living room AC is not working, geyser we requested to get it repaired, Dinning chair are highly unstable ,room walls have fungi & bath room latch is not getting closed) . We found the mobile network and wifi was strong and quick power back-up).

There's also ample parking available, ensuring that all guests can park their vehicles comfortably. The ambiance of the resort is very inviting and pleasant, creating a relaxing atmosphere for everyone. The rooms are quite decent, though there is some room for improvement to enhance the overall experience. Overall, this resort offers a wonderful setting for a group outing, combining convenience, space, and a pleasant atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for spending quality time with friends and family.

This resort is situated at a secluded place by the river Ganga. They serve quality food in the restaurant. There is a private cruise where you can enjoy the evening floating. Rooms are average. Staffs are well behaved. Must visit.

No proper electricity, no restaurant, no food arrangements, old damp rooms and toilet. No hospitality and cooperation. We could not stay a moment.

!!! Horrible Experience !!! We have recently visited that place and our experience is horrible. 2. If you visit the place by car you hardly get any clue that there is a Resort present in the location marked by gmap. Its just a normal gate used by any factory or institution, no marking or banner … JolChobi is written in such a way you will easily overlook. 1. The care taker don’t know about our visit and there is no arrangement for food in Lunch and Dinner within Resort premises.The caretaker asked whether we carry food for lunch or not. Then he suggested to call or visit nearby hotels on Kalyani Highway to bring food or deliver food. We never expect that a Resort having no arrangement of foods at all. Finally when we asked multiple times how we can arrange food in such a remote place he asked to order it in Zomato or Swiggy. 2. The place is not good for any couple or small family. if you come with a group of people or for any picnic purpose, it will serve the purpose because there is only one cottage in the entire property. So you are the only family staying in the property and every time you have to call to the care taker for whatever you need. 3.After calling him he provided us a bisleri water bottle and to our utter surprises he demanded the charges for the mineral water while checking out. 4.We found the toiletries are used by earlier visitors and toilets are not cleaned. 5. The bedsheet are not cleaned properly and was torn. 6.Two poor dogs were tied in small cages and the poor creatures are crying to get out all the day. 7.Random people & boys were entering into the resorts and were roaming around while we were there.We couldn’t take risk what will be the situation at night.We felt insecure and decided to leave around 5 pm. 8.Dont be misleaded with the reviews like us. 9.I’ll not suggest the property for any couple or small family. Overall we lost our money and returned home with lots of irritation.

Visited the resort on 1st of January 2024 Wonderful place to spend ,rooms are excellent with all Morden facilities...all staffs are well behaved and food is excellent....extra attraction was the river cruise. I should appreciate the esthetic sense of the owners....The resorts enhance the beauty of Murshidabad and attracts the ppl to visit Murshidabad again and again...I am eager to visit again....

JOLCHOBI ECO RESORT --> First of all, there is a lot of similarity with the name and very well arranged !! From the behavior of the staffs to the food quality is very good. Such a beautiful environment here. I personal requesting that, whoever goes here, try to stay at least one day full. The night nature becomes more alluring.
