The Mundanad House

We spent a night at Mundanad House. The place was a gem, amazingly renovated historical house in the middle of Trivandrum. The manager was great, very kind and helpful. Would recommend to anyone staying in Trivandrum for a short or longer stay.

Stayed for one night at the Mundanad House with my family. The rooms were delightful to say the least. It combined traditional old world charm with the comfort of modern living. The manager Nikhil took care of us really well and the breakfast we had there was mouth watering. All in all a fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway in the midst of the hustle and bustle of life.

The Mundanad house a marvelous 135 years old ancestral house. We selected the property during last vacation as its not a bar or hotel and it found as a perfect place for our family get together This is a homestay, and no one except their guest are not allowed after 8pm or so. It was found attractive as we stayed as family. So no night party and remember to check in Before 9 pm. We all experienced the real hospitality and would like to suggest as a must visit place. Thanks to The Mundanad House Trivandrum for our wonderful experience in last vacation

How lovely it was to stay in this magic historic Kerala house. The room was not live small apartment with corridor, bathroom and main bedroom. Interiors tastefully decorated. And impeccably clean. Sitting on the balcony during a tropical rain storm was beautiful. Nikhil and his assistant served the most amazing Kerala breakfast (we discovered the scrumptiousness of steamed bananas and other delights). Nikhil helped us with transport and was a great source of information. The property is close to the airport and the famous temple of Trivandrum. Will go back for sure.

Manager knows better to do acting than he know to behave properly. He doesnt even know to behave to women. This guy came to the room without even knocking the doors at night saying some random excuses. Intially he behave as if he is nice. Then he shows his real face. No privacy as he always walks around the property everywhere. This guy cant even admit his mistakes and never even have a hospitality for the guest. I never recomend this property. He wasted the happy, good and pleasant times.

One of top notch home stay in trivandrum, my family had a really nice time staying here. Staffs are very courteous. Will definitely visit again

A 135 year old house is well maintained and the traditional house is good for those who love the traditional heritage house of Kerala....

Had the worst experience of my lifetime from here.The manager was very rude and screwed up our whole mood.Will never ever go back to this place again and also would never recommend it to anybody.If you are looking for a peaceful stay kindly dont book this property.
