NillStayed at the property with family and had a wholesome time. Very well maintained rooms and living area. We could use the kitchen too. Special thanks to Manju for making us delicious appam and egg curry for breakfast and to Nikhil for ensuring our stay was comfortable. Would recommend others with family, couples or solo travellers to stay here for an unwinding stay and for travelling back in time to witness 130 years of heritage.

NillVery nice stay. Manager and Manju took very good care of us. Rooms are very well maintained and clean . It's 100+ year's property and gives you ancient vibes but rooms have all modern amenities available.

NillWe had a wonderful stay at The Mundanad House.with charming interiors and tranquil gardens that make you feel instantly at home. The staff service was excellent, and a special mention to Midhun, whose warmth and attentiveness made our experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates thoughtful heritage design and genuinely caring staff.

NillThis place is an excellent retreat for a peaceful stay with a heritage experience. The place is very well- maintained . The decor and architecture is aesthetically nostalgic. The detailing that has gone into the decor is amazing. The highlight is the professional yet warm and affectionate service led by Mr Nikhil . Every need is taken care by him cheerfully. Ms Manju manages the kitchen and the food with healthy and delicious kerala cuisine served with that warm smile. It is a must have experience, the place very close to airport and the city . All major temples too in the vicinity It was truly a memorable experience and we are definitely coming back for more .

NillWOW... We planned for a temple-O-thon in Thiruvananthapuram. I had visited Thiruvananthapuram a few days ago on a business trip. I had visited the museum then and liked it so much. With this background, when me and wife planned for this temple visits, i wanted to stay in a traditional place which will connect with the royal times. So while searching in MMT, got a few places... In that selected The Mundanad House. We stayed for 2 nights... And these 2 nights were the most memorable ones which we will cherish throughout our lives.. Thanks to Nikhil for his wonderful hospitality and Manju for the dishes she cooked. It was home away from home with so many things to carry back home. The place had just three rooms well maintained and impeccably clean. Its a gigantic task to maintain a 130 year old building.. But one cannot make out that its so old. Overall, it was a fantastic time that we had. We will surely come again and again and also tell every friend of ours.

NillWe had a lovely stay at the Mundanad House : the place has a lot of charm and it is very easy to grab an auto from there. We left too early to enjoy the breakfast. The room was small and a bit dark but clean and functional, good bathroom. The manager was welcoming and helpful. My only complaint would that it is a pricey for the size of rooms, at least for us who visited in high season : you're paying a premium for the newly renovated old house.

NillThe Mundanad House, ARTHIYAYANI room, 3 nights, February 2025: Ambience and rooms: 100-year-old house stylishly transformed into a homestay with the charm of bygone times and all the amenities of today. Mosquito nets are installed in front of all windows. The spacious room was clean, as was the bathroom. There are no cleaning streaks to be found. Service: The house manager and an employee discreetly look after the well-being of the guests. Meals: daily varying breakfast with specialties from Kerala. An evening meal based on Kerala cuisine is offered for a fee. The house is located in a quiet side street; a few meters away there is a temple where you can switch off and forget about everyday life. Everything important is within easy walking distance.

NillI do not have enough words to explain our pleasant stay at the Mundanad house. It's a beautiful renovated 139 years old property. The host, Mr. Nikhil, infact upgraded our room which touched our hearts and helped us with early check in too.Delicious breakfast with homemade Kerala curry, egg curry and idiyappam. All sight seeing areas were within reach of 10-15 mins and Autos were passing the main road which was hardly an steps away. The home caretaker also prepared amazing sunrise coffee whenever we requested. Sir also helped us guide with sight seeing plans. AC, Hot water, Kettle all were available. Thank you for making our trip comfortable and modern traditional blend experience.
