Privystays Jk's Private Bungalow/Villa with Pool in Alibag/Alibaug

We stayed at this villa in Alibaug for 2 nights with our group. Overall, it was a good experience but with some things that could be better. The living hall was very big with plenty of space to sit together, and the large dining table was perfect for our group meals. The rooms were okay — not very luxurious for the price, but decent enough. A couple of bedrooms didn’t have lockable keys, and one room on the first floor (beside the pool) felt too separate and a bit scary to use at night, so we avoided it. The location is very peaceful, tucked away at the end of a kachcha road with greenery and no noise at all. But because it’s so inside, it did feel a little unsafe at night. The caretaker locked the main gate, but the inside gate between the bedrooms and living area wasn’t closing properly. The pool was big and perfect for a group, but it needed better cleaning as we saw insects in the water. About food, it’s not included (which we knew in advance), but they don’t allow guests to use the kitchen either, even for making tea or Maggi. They only provided a kettle in the living room, which wasn’t practical for a group. Also, basic things like plates and cutlery were not kept ready on the dining table — we had to call the caretaker each time, which wasn’t convenient. Overall, the villa is good for a group stay because of the big living space and pool, but with a few improvements in cleanliness, safety, and convenience, it could be much better.

Our family of 13 recently stayed at this spacious villa, and it was a mixed bag. The villa itself was lovely and comfortably accommodated our large group, which was a huge plus. We also enjoyed the good food and the refreshing pool. However, several issues significantly detracted from our stay. We found non-functioning plug points in multiple areas, the bedsheets were shabby with insects (requiring us to clean them before use), and the kitchenware and utensils were old and unkempt. The biggest challenge was the on-site staff's efficiency. Despite ringing for assistance, responses were often delayed or absent. We had to request room cleaning and trash removal multiple times, sometimes up to four requests, which made us feel they were overwhelmed. Breakfast service, though tasty, was consistently slow, often taking an hour and a half. Even the pool net was torn, forcing us to clean it ourselves. This property has great potential with its spaciousness and amenities. However, with improved staff training, a more efficient and well-equipped team, and an upgrade to their kitchenware, it could be a truly fantastic experience. Based on our recent stay, we'd rate it 2.5 out of 5 and hope these concerns are addressed for future guests

I had a wonderful stay at Privy Stays Hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean, well-maintained, and offered a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff was courteous and attentive throughout my visit. I'd like to extend a special thanks to Jitendra, who went above and beyond to make my stay truly unforgettable. His professionalism, helpful attitude, and warm hospitality were exceptional and truly stood out. I really appreciate his efforts – he made a significant difference in my overall experience.

Property is good n staff is friendly.. Hitesh is your man of contact. The in house singer was just too.good. The only problem is found was that morning we had to request the staff to clean.the dining table which was littered with earlier nights dinner

Beautiful and spacious space, rooms are clean and neat. Chefs are awesome, prepare tasty food veg as well as non-veg. Staff is supportive, check in time was 1 p.m but they allow us to check in at 11:30 a.m. The location is quite away from the beaches. The overall experience is fantastic.

We had booked this villa recently for 2 nights. The cost of the stay was very high. Food quality was ok but the quantity was ridiculously low. The chicken was so measured that each of us could hardly get 2 to 3 pieces in starters. Fish was also only 1 per person. We had 3 kids below 5 years and they were not even counted as fish or chicken eaters. Parents were supposed to give from their plate to the kids. If somebody from privy stays is reading this then I urge you to please stop this business because it's not your cup of tea. That reminds me that even tea and coffee was prepared as 1 cup per person. Overall a ridiculous way of hospitality. I am giving 2 stars only because the rooms were comfortable to sleep.

Very nice villa if coming with big family, they have 5 master bedrooms .enough for 12-14 ppl. Also have private pool. Only disadvantage is it is inside sonu need to half yr own private car if you do for beach or other activities... Food as order from Zomato..
