Ekostay Gold - Iris Villa

Overall the villa is good & very spacious. We stayed there for two days with 11 family members. We had a great time there. Few ares of improvement- The bathtub was broken. Looks like it was not fixed for a long time. Same with the Sundeck chair, it was broken. Overall a good villa for family.

We booked the Iris Villa at Lonavala to celebrate a birthday party. The caretaker was in a rush and was not at all patient to explain things . We heaved the following problems: 1)The clock in the living room was not working. 2) No badminton racket was provided. 3) The kitchen vent was not working at all and all of us ( 17 members) had to stay outside in the rain as our eyes were burning very badly. The cook was nice enough to open windows but it was of no help. The whole night the villa had food smell lingering through out the house. 4) The bed sheets, comforter and pillow were not clean and it was observed during checkout the bed sheets were not removed for laundry but were reused. We probably got the spoiled linen too. 5) The plates had cracks and holes in them. There were no snack plates to use. Overall it was not a great experience the photos online and the experience is contradictory. Won’t recommend the Iris Villa by Ekostay 😡

We were around 15 people in the family to stay here. The food was bad and unhygienic. One of our family member was admitted due to food poisoning after eating here, and the rest of them where having bad stomach. Even the swimming pool was not clean and the water was not changed. Towards the end they even ask me to pay for a chair which I did not break. Overall a very bad experience, I don't recommend this place to anyone.

We had booked EkoStay Gold Iris vila in Lonavala for our family event over last weekend and had not so good experience 1. Service was poor; caretaker’s attitude was horrible and he was not present at the site most of the time inspite rule of he being available at the facility till 10 pm 2. Not enough mattress and lenins available and we had to beg, fight with the caretaker to get more from his locker.. no towels provided; he argued so much.. 3. Site manager and sales team- who agreed to be reachable during sales cycle - were absolutely not reachable; did not answer or returned our multiple missed calls… pathetic.. team is nice only during sales and post that they do not care.. the sales team sent a WA msg at night asking all good but did not bother to attend calls 4. Kitchen in the facility was small and messy with exhaust not working and food for the guest was prepared here which spread smoke and smell across the drawing room making the guest so uncomfortable.. we had to move out in garden or to rooms to save ourselves from it.. it ruined our event; cook and helper stayed at the same small kitchen which was kind of in drawing room left no privacy for us 5. Next day Mrng there was no water and could reach caretaker only after almost 30 mins and multiple calls; he did not visit the property but asked us to start the pump 6. While check out the horrible caretaker mentioned that one chair is broken which we had no idea or none from guest had anything to do with it and deducted money for that from security deposit.. seems like revenge for the altercation in night.. The property was good and quite maintained and Cook service was very good! They were polite and provide very good service; food also was good! Good property and vacation option but is being ruined due to very poor staff… will not recommend this to anyone

We visited this place in July, it was pleasant, the villa is beautiful with decent interior. The location is easy to locate and near the centre. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed it, the cooks did an amazing job.

Third class property. It’s the worst property ever and not at all neat and utensils are all dirty and swimming pool are not clean and outside space is very less and just it’s good in photos and not at all worth the money they charged. And service care is not take by care taker or nor by manager or owner.

Place is good. Having difficulty in getting receipts for all the payments done. There was a deposit to be made on reaching the place, which wasnt clarified. I was supposed to read the terms & conditions.

NAAM BADE , DARSHAN CHOTE. While the care taker was very helpful, the place isn’t up to the mark. Diff from what it seems in Pictures. Also disappointed regarding the upkeep and cleanliness of cutlery.
