Cottage in the clouds hosted by Vista Rooms is a cute little cottage very close to the mall road. It's at an elevation but the vehicles can go right outside the cottage. The view of picturesque mountains from the patio was incredible. The bedrooms are equipped with all the modern amenities. The interiors are very nicely done and give a very homey feeling. The caretaker of the cottage is very sweet and hospitable. He was very considerate in all our requirements and provided us with all food as per our expectations. If you are looking out for a peaceful stay, this is a perfect hide-out for you.

Had a great experience at the cottage in the clouds in Mussoorie. It's hardly a 5-minute drive from the mall road. You can easily locate the place. The caretaker does a great job in maintaining the property. He's great with kids, very patient and caring. He provided us with delicious meals and snacks. The view from the location is absolutely gorgeous. If you are at Mussoorie, you should definitely stay here. Thank you for hosting us Vista Rooms!

brilliant place to stay in Mussoorie with amazing views. It's very close to the mall road, yet secluded enough in a peaceful neighbourhood. The rooms are very spacious and well heated. Special thanks to the caretaker who took care of all our needs- and made sure we were comfortable. He greeted us with tea and bournvita for the kids in our group. We really appreciate such a kind gesture. You can also request for a bonfire to be lit for chilly nights. Sunset views from the place should not be missed. The associate from Vista Rooms was in touch with us to make sure our stay was going smooth and because of such attentiveness, our check-in was hassle-free. Great job by Vista Rooms. I'm glad I took my friend's suggestion. :)

As in the name, Villa is literally in the clouds. The last few rounds on the hill the roads are little steep & narrow. You need to have great control on your car. Once you reach the Villa, it have great scenic view. The Villa/ property is clean & well maintained. Great staff, caretaker Mr Chandan, took complete care of our requirements. The cook Mr Rajesh prepare amazing Food both Veg & Non Veg. The pricing of the Villa is justified whereas the FOOD COSR is too Expensive which is additional to Villa cost. The STAY VISTA charges are too expensive in terms of food. The bbq kit price is ₹3000 for just the kit per night, which also didn't make sense. It’s a lovely property located at a peaceful and serene area. I booked the property via stay vista, they communicated well. The caretaker of the property Mr. Chandan hosted the place place well and provided us with amazing food. However, we could not enjoy the view as portrayed in the pictures due to cloudy weather. The property was situated close to Mall Road, around 2.5kms by road.

Before we could even start to enjoy the beauty of Mussoorie, we caught the caretakers of the property (who were employees of Vista Rooms) red handed stealing from our bags, to which they confessed also. On checking, we found money missing from our closed suitcases. We immediately contacted the police who confirmed that one of the caretaker was drunk during the hours of duty. Given the entire fiasco and considering we were travelling with women and children, we had to leave the property immediately and look for alternate options through the evening and night in this peak tourist season. Finally we had to settle in another location by paying 3x the amount we had paid for Vista Rooms. What is worse is the reaction of Team Vista Rooms. We were in touch with them since 6pm, but there were no assurances from them and got an unsatisfactory reply at around 9:30pm. In fact we were told your safety is not their responsibility. There was financial loss, stress, mental agony but Vista Rooms was indifferent. We are still fighting for recovery of our money, but there is complete lack of empathy. Can never recommend this to anyone.

It’s quite conveniently located close to Mussoorie Mall road. It’s very cosy interiors with numerous amenities. The caretaker is a very sweet guy who is quite helpful and courteous. He went overboard to make sure our stay was comfy. We were provided with great meals too. Loved this place. Will surely recommend this to friends and family groups on tour.

very ordinary property highly priced don't have any hygiene standards in place...care taker Mr chandan uses the same cloth to wipe tables n utensils....rooms are not even worth 4k per day but charged 10 k per day
