We recently stayed at Moonlo Hotel in Shanghai during a long layover with two adults and two children. If you’re looking for a convenient and comfortable place near Pudong Airport, don’t look further—this is an excellent option. ✈️🏨||||The hotel is ideally located just a short drive from Pudong International Airport, making it perfect for those with connecting flights. The free shuttle service to and from the airport adds great convenience. 🚌||||From the outside, the hotel may not seem inviting, but once inside, it’s a different story. The rooms are modern, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel offers a variety of facilities, including a cozy terrace and a kid-friendly environment, which made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. 🛏️✨||||The staff is generally friendly and helpful, although there is a notable language barrier at the reception and especially over the phone, which can be challenging if you don’t speak Chinese. 🌐||||Despite the initial impression from its exterior and the language barrier, Moonlo Hotel excels in providing a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped stay. Its proximity to both Pudong Airport and Shanghai Disneyland makes it an excellent choice for travelers. 🎢🛬

What an amazing place 🤞🏼. Booked with short notice and overnight stay to fly out of Shanghai (PVG) and didn’t have high expectations. But it came totally different. Super stylish, with a huge touch of relaxing and Spa feeling. A hotel like this you would expect on Bali, but not in an area close to an airport. There was always the beautiful herbal smell around you. It was super quiet and everything felt like a short breakout of your daily hectic life. The rooms are open, spacious and very clean. The breakfast has a huge variety of western and traditional Chinese food. I absolutely loved it and will make sure to stop by again on my next trip to Shanghai. Highly recommended.

Kia ora, we are a couple from NZ. We stayed for one night only before going to the airport. We wished we stayed here longer as it was so dreamy and peaceful. Check in was easy and the girls were very helpful. Room was AMAZING and was a highlight of our trip. Breakfast in the morning had western and Chinese options and was delicious. The hotel provided a shuttle to the airport and this was quick and easy. I would highly recommend this hotel. One thing to note is on Trip.com it is advertised as one name and upon arrival we found it was called “Moonloo” just an fyi when needed long to find it. Location is fantastic with access to shops and dinner options.

The moment you pull up to the hotel, you're greeted by the sound of kids yelling and having fun in the mini theme-park. It takes a new traveler a while to discover this hidden gem... literally. Once you finally enter the building, you are assisted by friendly receptionists who help you quickly navigate to your room. If you have any issues, big or small, they're always glad to assist you. The hotel comes with all sorts of perks like free drinks, a reading room, and more! Definitely worth staying at! *We even came back a week later to stay here again! :)*

modern and new hotel in a convenient location close to the Pudong International Airport. offers pre arranged free airport shuttle. English speaking professional staff. Clean, comfortable, quiet room with outdoor balcony. soft towels and beddings. delicious breakfast with choice of hot noodles soup wontons, omelette. free luggage storage. we returned as its guests after our excursion to Huangshan mountains. many restaurants within 3 minutes walking distance from this stylish Hotel. highly recommend.

My parents really enjoyed their short stay here. It was very conveniently located for the airport. The team were INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly. There was a slight issue with the room and the reception team helped them without fuss and sorted it within 10 mins. The room itself was comfortable and spacious with beautiful high ceilings and light. The bed was very large and comfortable.

I loved staying here. The staff are so friendly, the interior decor is amazing. The breakfast was delicious. Plus, the airport transfer vehicle and driver were so courteous. Highly recommended.

Although I stayed only one night (because I had a layover stop in Shanghai), my experience at the Moonlo hotel was fantastic. The hotel is a convenient 15 min. drive from the airport, so check-in was easy and seamless. There are also a lot of spots around the hotel for food! The room was so cool. Everything was so clean and the bed was comfortable! But what really made my experience feel so special was the restaurant breakfast I had the morning before my check-out. The food was good, but the service provided by the staff was exceptional. I felt welcome and well fed. The restaurant lady even helped me bring my luggage to the check-out desk and helped me arrange my complimentary shuttle ride to the airport. I definitely will need to come back for a much longer stay.
