The Flower Hotel

This hotel is set in an almost art-nouveau neighbourhood well out of the main city but still surrounded by trendy cafes and restaurants. The big room is pleasant though a bit sparse. There is a nice bathroom with good water pressure (though the change in water temperature is a fine balance of the handle between scalding, just right and frigid). There is no fridge and no free water. The very nice home-made breakfast is included and caters for westerners. The Wi-fi is good. The aircon works. The big bed big is comfortable but the pillows are average. The lighting needs more. The proprietors speak a little English and are very pleasant. This hotel is at the edge of what tries to be a trendy western village, so you will see more westerners here than normal. The nearby eateries are quite OK. There is even a coffee shop near the car park that makes hot chocolate (rare in China). Overall a pretty good option in Guilin, especially considering the price of around AU$55 per night.

Ich habe sogar eine ganze Woche im Flower Hotel verbracht und mir viel Zeit genommen, die Umgebung von Guilin zu erkunden. Mein Zimmer war freundlich eingerichtet mit Blick auf die Berge. Das Badezmmer mordern und geschmackvoll. Die vier Damen vom Service waren alle ausgesprochen freundlich. Nur Emma spricht ausreichend Englisch und gab mir hilfreiche Tipps. Das Frühstück verlief ein bißchen unkoordiniert, aber es muss nicht immer alles perfekt sein im Leben. ||Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist optimal. ||Das Dorf LuJia liegt etwa 20 Minuten vom Zentrum Guilin entfernt (mit dem Taxi 16 bis 20 Yuan - also keine 3 €) und ist tagsüber eine Touristenattraktion. Deshalb gibt es ein großes Angebot an Hotels und Restaurants. Am Abend kehrt Ruhe ein, was ich sehr genossen habe Die Lage am Li River ist phantastisch. Ein herrlicher Fußweg führt zur großartigen Reed Flute Höhle. Übrigens - was einem keiner sagt und ich nur zufällig viel zu spät erfahren habe: Senioren zahlen in der Regel bei fast allen Attraktionen keinen Eintritt. Also immer den Pass vorzeigen.

我什至在花酒店待了整整一周，花了很多时间探索桂林周边地区。我的房间布置宜人，可以看到山景。浴室现代而有品味。服务人员的四位女士都非常友好。只有艾玛会说足够的英语并给了我有用的建议。早餐有点不协调，但生活中并不是所有事情都必须十全十美。 ||性价比最优。 ||鲁家村距桂林市中心约 20 分钟车程（打车 16 至 20 元 - 不到 3 欧元），是白天的旅游景点。这就是为什么有各种各样的酒店和餐馆。晚上这里变得安静，我真的很喜欢漓江上的位置非常棒。一条美妙的步道通向宏伟的芦笛岩。顺便说一句，没有人告诉你，我只是偶然发现的，为时已晚：老年人通常不支付几乎所有景点的门票。因此，请务必出示您的护照。

The Flower Inn hotel in Guilin is a decent hotel for a good price. The staff is really kind and speaks good english. The rooms are clean and beautiful. ||||There are a lot of smalls shops and good restaurants nearby so you can get everything at anytime. ||||The only minus is the breakfast which is really basic and with few options like toast and bacon. ||Then there is no elevator which can be a problem for some but for us it didnt matter that much. ||||All in all very nice hotel with good staffs :-)

桂林花之家酒店是一家不错的酒店，价格也很实惠。工作人员真的很友善而且英语说得很好。房间干净又漂亮。 ||||附近有很多小商店和不错的餐馆，所以你可以随时买到一切。 ||||唯一的缺点是早餐非常基本，只有很少的选择，比如烤面包和培根。 ||然后没有电梯，这对某些人来说可能是个问题，但对我们来说这并不重要。 ||||总而言之，非常好的酒店，员工也很好:-)

My friends and I, a group of 4, stayed here for a 4 night sightseeing trip of Guilin. Our room was excellent in all respects - very clean, comfortable, spacious, with AC, beautiful views, etc. Breakfast was super tasty (great fried noodles, dumplings, and porridge!). Most notably, the staff is extremely kind and helpful, happily providing advice on best sights to see and which to skip, as well as having pricing information on most items and give options for tours booked through the hotel. We ended up taking the hotel's suggestion on a booking for touring the Li River and the rice terrace fields; both bookings were cheaper than pricing found on Tripadvisor and other tour finding websites, and were much more convenient and personable for a smaller party if you wished. The tour guides also spoke english. For scale, we stopped by a help desk in the Guilin airport that suggested a few tours -- after we got to the hotel, we realized that these tours were priced at 2-3x what our hotel staff offered us. We booked one day's tour before getting to the hotel through this airport help desk, which was a huge mistake; the driver did not speak english, the pricing was again 2-3x what our hotel could offer us, and of the 3 locations visited, 2 were uninteresting (in fact, the hotel staff took a look at our tour itinerary when we got back to the hotel before we left for the tour, and warned that the same 2 were not worth visiting). On all fronts, booking through the hotel was better: the staff are much more kind and helpful, and not at all pushy, book much cheaper tours, and much more interesting tours with kinder tour guides. ||We would highly recommend anyone coming to the area to stay at this fantastic hotel. You will not get a better hotel experience anywhere else, not even including the very reasonable nightly rate.

We stayed in Lujia Village for three nights during which we were able to visit the rice terraces, travel the Li river by bamboo boat, see the ancient town of Da Xu, climb up to a mountain overlooking Guilin, spelunk in the Reed Flute Cave, and walk about town. All of this was made possible by the excellent staff at the Flower Inn. The proprietor is quite friendly and has picked some local guides who ensure that your adventures will be stunning. The rooms are well appointed with excellent bathrooms and nice touches in the bedroom. Sitting in the pop-out window box while drinking tea in the morning is just lovely. Lujia Village seems to be a trendy date night spot for the locals with fine dining options and pleasant outdoor seating. I highly recommend staying at the Flower Inn while you visit Guilin.

This hotel is located in the traditional Lujia village of Guilin. Lujia village is a a nice place, located close to Red flute cave on an island in the river and therefore feels a bit secluded. It’s a traditional village and make for a good stroll/visit if you stay at the hotel. There are shops and restaurants close to the hotel. The hotel has a traditional exterior. The hotel lobby also looks traditional. The staff are friendly and speaks decent English. Payment with an international credit card was possible. The place was quite affordable and breakfast was included. Breakfast was simple and ok. Both Chinese and western (toast, jam, eggs, bacon etc) food were available. The room was decent and clean. Lighting was a bit dim but adds to ambiance if you like that. Bed was comfortable and the room had several amenities like water kettle and air-conditioning but no fridge. The space with the low table and traditional tea set was a nice addendum. Bathroom was clean and shower was nice. So overall, it is a decent hotel with a good price for what you get. I definitely can recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a bit tricky to find, but the location is peaceful, quiet and clean. Getting to the centre can take a while, but the taxi service in Guilin is cheap so you can get anywhere around the town for RMB 20 tops. ||||The staff is friendly and polite, speaks English well and is always ready to help you out, should you need assistance e.g. booking a taxi or a tour. The room was a bit cold, but we turned on the heating and it warmed up quickly. The whole place is decently styled, giving you a cozy feeling. It was both the cleanest and the nicest hotel we've been to during our Chinese adventure.||||The only downside is the dining area lacks isolation, as nearly all Chinese places do, so it can be a bit chilly in colder weather, as we experienced in March.

Ein sehr schönes, abseits des Stadttrubels gelegenes Hotel! Nach drei Wochen Reise durch die Dörfer der Miao und Dong erholte ich mich dort und genoss den kleinen Luxus dieses Hotels. Das Flower Inn liegt direkt im Stadtteil Lucjia, gut zu erreichen mit dem Stadtbus No. 3 von Guilin Station (Achtung, die Lagemarkierung bei booking.com und tripadvisor ist nicht ganz korrekt). Alle Damen des Hauses sprechen gut englisch und helfen bei Fragen und notwendigen Reservierungen für die Weiterfahrt. Unbedingte Empfehlung für Guilin und das Erkunden der wunderschönen Umgebung.

一个非常好的酒店，远离城市的喧嚣！经过三周的苗寨和侗寨旅行，我在那里放松下来，享受了这家酒店的小奢华。花花客栈位于卢家区，乘坐城市公交车 1 路即可轻松抵达。 3 从桂林站出发（注意，booking.com 和 tripadvisor 上的位置标记并不完全正确）。屋内的所有女士英语都说得很好，会帮助解答问题并为后续旅程进行必要的预订。绝对推荐桂林并探索美丽的环境。
