Stayed at this hotel for 8 days April/May 2019. The hotel has a magnificent facade and lobby area with very welcoming staff with limited English. The hotel does appear to have a policy of always having one staff member on duty at all times that has a good command of English so problem solved. The room at level 13 was spacious, bright and clean with a desk and tv with a few English speaking channels news, etc. The bed was unbelievably hard but 20 minutes later Jonathan had instructed the room service staff to place two mattress toppers on the bed again problem solved. The swimming pool and Gym at level 22 is great to have on such a long stay. Breakfast is buffet style with mainly Chinese food and a small selection of western fare. Eggs were a good choice boiled fried or as an omelet, there was cereal, fruit, and yogurt very limited on bread but you would not be hungry. The dinner was buffet style and was extensive and inclusive of soft drinks, beer, bottles of wine and an array of teas and coffee at a reasonable price of 298 yuan per person. The staff make this hotel great, they are so helpful friendly and always smiling from Amanda at the restaurant reception to all the waiting staff. Jonathan the new restaurant manager has experience of working in five-star hotels in Beijing and has vision and ideas which when implemented will make this hotel even better than it is. The hotel location is excellent and inexpensive taxis make all parts of Luoyang very accessible Looking forward to my next stay.

The hotel rooms are quite large with a separate bath and walk in shower. The WiFi is slow with normal problems of censored websites in China. The bed is huge (Emperor size!). The international breakfast buffet has a good range of Chinese and international dishes. The traffic around the hotel is quite bad at the moment because of various redevelopment in the town - indeed when you arrive on the bullet train if you are being picked up you have a 500m walk to anywhere your bus can get to because of these public works. But in China they will complete them quite fast, I expect!

We stayed here two nights as part of an Abercrombie & Kent trip and this place certainly suffered by comparison to the other hotels on our tour. As others have said, once you get past the glittering (and strangely empty) lobby, things go down hill. The room was large but had a vaguely moldy smell. The bed was incredibly hard, kind of a thin mattress on plywood. Breakfast was ok with a variety of choices, heavy on Chinese as you would expect from a Chinese-owned hotel. Staff was pleasant but many did not seem to understand basic English which is problematic for a heavily touristed hotel. Overall supposed to be one of the best in the area, but that doesn’t seem to be high praise.

This hotel is nicely located near shops and easy access by taxi to all major places to visit. Staff is extremely friendly, but take your time to find the ones that speak good English. The bar is a bit small, but again staff is good. Breakfast is half western, half Chinese, if you only like western, it might be not as diverse as you may be used to. But no risk of leaving hungry. Rooms are what you expect and large, but some are just that extra meter larger and more convenient.

如果只是酒店硬件的话，按照5星级标准只能给2星，房间的装修很像motel，全透明的卫浴空间和房间连接，很像情趣酒店。酒店的健身房超级小，泳池也很小，更像是一个儿童泳池。男更衣室里的沐浴间只有两个，跟桑拿房和卫生间各一个在同一排上面，感觉不是很干净。但是服务可以给4分，服务人员都很热情，也都很周到，所以总体给3分。

酒店位置很好，环境优美，交通便利，周围吃饭购物都很方便，附近有音乐喷泉，去龙门石窟也很近。房间宽敞舒适，干净卫生，窗外视野开阔，每天赠送的水果很新鲜，酸奶也不错。酒店工作人员热情，入住全程都有酒店小姐姐的陪同和指引，服务及时，态度也非常好，尤其是宾客关系主任赵燕飞，入住期间正好是朋友生日，酒店的小哥哥小姐姐们还特意送了蛋糕和生日祝福，非常nice，很愉快的住宿体验

酒店就在洛阳新市政府斜对面。估计今年餐饮和会议生意大受打击。其位置距离关林和龙门均比较近约5公里左右，可以利用酒店租赁的自行车过去。|大堂比较明亮但偏大。酒店餐饮水准还可以。自助早餐品种和品质均不错，既可以吃到本地小吃酸汤馄饨和牛肉汤（虽然没街边那么到位），也有西式的法棍面包牛角面包等。就是配套的咖啡有点酸。|酒店客房比较大，基本都配了联想商用电脑（但似乎电脑程序里面均含有木马病毒可能会盗取客人的QQ账号密码等建议慎用）恐怕需要酒店网管及时升级。|客房电视机屏幕相对于客房面积而言偏小，节目还算丰富有CNN等。|酒店卫生间朝客房的两个面设计成全玻璃结构隔音比较差，双人房一个人在洗澡时另一个人几乎无法入睡。另外十分不理解酒店方为什么将热带雨淋设置在浴缸外面且排水很差，隔夜洗澡次日一早尚有积水。热带雨淋的水压也不满足要求。而洗脸盆的水压又偏高老是溅客人胸前一滩水！

Only stayed in the area for one night and craved a comfortable bed, a good breakfast and a clean hotel .... sadly all a dream. Once passed the grand, glittering entrance, the room was indeed big enough but the shower cubicle had so much mould and grime, the bin (when moved) covered a circle of dirt and the bed, once again, incredibly hard! Charged for a glass of cold milk for my British tea, rather un generous! The Wi Fi is only available, occasionally, in the lobby (as seen by the hoards of people busy tapping away on their devices!) and the breakfast choices poor (unless you're still loving the Chinese food after 3 weeks...). ||Would we stay here again, No.
