The Golden Palm was a basic hotel. The staff were friendly. Everything was clean, but a little old. The pool was nice. It was right across from the beach and only a few hundred meters from tons of restaurants. The breakfast was good, but was all Chinese food, which didn't bother me, but just want others to be aware. Highly recommend for any travelers that aren't too concerned about a really luxurious place but are looking for a comfortable, clean stay in Sanya.

I recently stayed at Resort Golden Palm in Sanya and my experience was a mix of highs and lows. The initial encounter with the lobby staff wasn't very pleasant, but the rest of the staff throughout my stay were exceptionally friendly. The hotel's prime location, just across the beach and 800 meters from restaurants, malls, and markets, adds significant value.The highlight of the resort is undoubtedly its amazing pool and lake. Additionally, the unexpected gifts of a complimentary photoshoot and fishing experience were a pleasant surprise. The photoshoot was entirely free, allowing me to choose five pictures with the option to purchase extras at a reasonable price.I opted for the fishing experience, but since I wasn't familiar with it, the staff kindly replaced it with a fish foot spa, showcasing their flexibility and commi**ent to guest satisfaction.On the downside, I booked the cheapest room, which proved to be spacious but disappointing. The room had an old and unpleasant smell, and the bathroom felt like it belonged to a 2-star hotel with its outdated and dark features. This aspect significantly affected my overall impression.Despite this, the hotel's proximity to the area's best hotels and the positive encounters with most staff members leave me considering a future stay, with the hope of exploring a different room for a potentially improved experience. Addressing the room conditions could significantly enhance the overall appeal of Resort Golden Palm.

I would rather rank it 4 stars hotel! It’s a bit old, but 5 starts for the outdoor swimming pool!Cross the street and the beach is right in front of you! Quite few restaurants ( a bit expensive though) around! We went before CNY and surprisingly was pretty chilled at night.

Yalong Bay is STUNNING. My wife and I enjoyed just how beautiful everything was. Golden Palm Resort was ideal - lovely pool, great amenities, very close to the beach and with incredibly helpful staff (thanks to 黄有花 !) Breakfast was varied and decent, though the coffee machine sometimes went on the fritz. Overall, we thoroughly loved our stay, and would definitely book again!

The location of the hotel is great. It is just across the road from the beach and in walking distance from some of the restaurants and shops. The territory is very nice, there is a nice pool and also exit to the lake. It is a good place to relax there in the evening laying on the hammock. The staff is accommodating and friendly. However, the rooms are in need of renovation. The furniture is old and there is some mold in the bathroom. It was okay for me since I spent most of my days out.

Hi everyone! The hotel is a little bit old, but it's nice, clean and the staff is very friendly, although almost everybody didn't speak English. - The breakfast was quite appropriate for a foreigner: fried eggs, french fries, cereal, coffee from a coffee machine, some fried chicken with vegetables, some kinds of steamed and baked buns, watermelon and melon, cherry tomatoes and lettuce with some salad dressings. - The room is clean, the hotel provides shampoo, shower gel, and lotion, a hairdryer, two cups, two glasses, some teabags, bottled water, and fresh towels every day. There were two bathrobes and towels for the beach with a bag where you can put your towel. We have been living in three different rooms because at first, we came for 2 days and lived in a comfortable room with a garden view 2408 on the 4th floor, it was the best room. Then we decided to move to dadonghai and after 3 days we came back to this hotel again and lived in a room with a swimming pool and a lake view 2603 on the 6th floor for 4 more days. On the last evening, two small lizards appeared in the room and we asked the staff to change the room for 1 night, they were very nice and they agreed and gave us room 1107 on the first floor with a swimming pool view, the room was for a family with a child and had some toys inside. The first two rooms had a bathtub, the third one had a shower. All three rooms were with a balcony. - The swimming pool area is awesome, very beautiful, and clean. The deck chairs were very cozy, the swimming pool was quite clean. There are some hammocks and a swing with a lake view where you can enjoy the quietness and have a rest.- The beachside is near, just across the road, the beach is clean, the sand is white and beautiful, and the sea is quite clean, there were some deck chairs and sunshades. You can have fun with some water activities at the beach too if you want of course. There are not so many cafes and restaurants appropriate for foreign people except Subway, McDonald's, Starbucks, KFC, and Pizza Hut. If there were a little bit more western food cafes close to the beachside, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.If you want to have a lazy and quiet holiday you should go there and relax!

We stayed in the hotel for 5 days at first, then we went to dadonghai. When we saw dadonghai beach, we decided to come back to the previous hotel. The hotel is a little bit old, but clean and very close to the beach. It has a very beautiful area with a swimming pool. The breakfast is quite basic: coffee from a coffee machine, hot boiled milk, fried eggs, fried vegetables, steamed buns, cornflakes, different kinds of baked buns, chicken sausages, chicken with vegetables, watermelon and melon, salad. The beach is very clean, the same is about the sea. There is not plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby with western food. But the beauty, quietness and clearness are worth it. I will definitely recommend the hotel and I will come back to this hotel for sure!

我们先在酒店住了5天，然后就去了大东海。看到大东海海滩，我们决定回到之前住的酒店。酒店有点旧，但是很干净，而且离海滩很近。它有一个非常美丽的区域，有一个游泳池。早餐很简单：咖啡机咖啡、热牛奶、煎鸡蛋、炒蔬菜、包子、玉米片、各种烤包子、鸡肉香肠、蔬菜鸡肉、西瓜哈密瓜、沙拉。海滩很干净，大海也一样。附近没有很多提供西餐的咖啡馆和餐馆。但为了美丽、安静和清晰，一切都是值得的。我一定会推荐这家酒店，并且我肯定会回到这家酒店！

The beach is just across the street, really close. There are some shops and cheep Chinese food nearby. There is a restaurant nearby 'Seasea' which is awful, don't go there. The room was really clean and nice. The staff was really helpful. Buffet breakfast was pretty delicious. Mostly Chinese food, but it was ok. The water in the sea was clean and really warm in August 2022. I will come back to this hotel!
