First the short and you can hang on if you like for the story:||||The Pros:||||A great value for the money.||Very spacious, comfortable rooms.||Comfortable Beds.||A gracious service staff that will go above/beyond if you're nice to them.||Good breakfast.||||The Cons:||||Typical slow Chinese internet.||Rooms slightly on the damp side||Can be a bit thin-walled||Not quite full featured as some 5-stars but close.||||||This was my home away from home for four days working with a few local factories in the area. Prior to my stay here I was a little spoiled staying at the Guangzhou Shangri-La and another very nice hotel in Kowloon before that.||||Westerners can admittedly very quickly become full-blown hotel snobs because of the dollar/euro/pound value one will get in China so if this is your first jaunt into a Chinese hotel, rest assured you will be more than pleased in your decision to stay here.||||For those a little more jaded, especially the business travelers amongst us, I still do rate this hotel high. Here are the reasons: ||||In spite of the fact that the staff had to deal with my language handicap (I don't speak Mandarin, Taiwanese or Cantonese), they were exceedingly gracious, helpful and hard working. I noticed the house keeping staff learned my schedule after the first day and my room was always left clean. When I had laundry done, the staff professionally mended a small hole in one of my garments, no extra charge (can you imagine that?). One time, when calling the front desk for a wake-up call, I went through four people trying to understand English before I was able to very crudely get 5:30am across. I thought it was a long shot they'd get it right but sure enough, it went through!||||The hotel itself is pleasant. I was too busy to try out the pool or some of the resort-like amenities but they did look nice. The hotel is a bit more Chinese geared which I like. I had to laugh at the bathtub on the balcony. Breakfast was very respectful with a good espresso machine and a noodle bar. Plenty of options for all types of appetites. ||||Best of all was the value. Four nights here cost me nearly as much as one at the Shangri-La in Guangzhou. So while it wasn't "world class" it beat the pants off most the swill I deal with stateside at half the cost and five times the value.||||What complaints I had were minor. The rooms were always a bit musty even with the A/C on overdrive to take out the moisture. The pipes seemed to be connected to the other rooms so if someone was having a shower I could hear the drains gurgling. One night someone was enjoying their cigarettes a little too much and I was getting a bit of it through the wall. All typical China stuff. I also wish they had a more extensive health club (with a steam room/sauna) -- something I always enjoy after long days.|| ||That's the hotel snob talking. If you made it this far, I'd say you have the patience to deal with all those things. Go book it!

Convenient place to reach Haicang industrial area avoiding the traffic jam in the bridge. Not much to do around but the hotel has decent restaurant with some werstern dishes. In the line of chinese hotels the room is good with a lot of amenities. My room had a balcony with a bath tub. Could be interesting to use it in plain view of the buildings around. 住的标间，一晚上是一千四百多，我公司跟他签的协议价好像是八百多。是五星级酒店，环境、卫生不错，整体的配套设施都是比较完善的。有健身房、游泳池等。服务也不错，你要是坐飞机过去的话，酒店会到机场去接你，走的时候也会把你送到机场。房间空间大小也不错，住的套房。隔音也还不错，肯定会听到一些声音的，算是很不错了。房间里面有电脑，一些设施都挺齐全的。房间采光很好，有阳台。卫生整体效果都很好。交通也很方便。有停车场，停车也方便。价位也不是很高，希望在便宜一点。装修很豪华。会推荐给朋友。

这个酒店还可以，酒店里的设施也比较完善，健身房，游泳池都有住的也都比较好，外面还有一个阳台，就是位置比较偏一点价格所以才便宜点，和这家酒店一样的差不多都是800到900多，不过打车到厦门大学那边也只要40几块钱就到了，酒店里的服务员态度卫生也都比较好。就是位置比较偏其它都不错。房间里的摆设基本都有，电视台挺多网速也不错。房费含早餐，如果两个人带小孩还得另收小孩餐费。

装修风格不错, 住的大床房, 不是很大但是很舒服|厦门真的很喜欢泡茶, 去过的每个酒店里都有泡茶用具, 鼓浪湾的茶是免费的, 另外还送一盘水果.|早餐质量8错, 亮点是有哈根达斯的冰淇淋, 每人限两球.|晚餐的自助有点小贵, 貌似是198外加15%服务费, 还木u尝试.|因为是岛外,所以交通便利程度比天鹅一类的酒店稍微差一点, 不过很安静.|比较适合公出, 旅游的话还是岛内的酒店方便一些.

Spacious room with a bath-tub at the balcony overlooking with a view of the lake. Breakfast buffet spread was sumptious. Quiet surroundings amidst local shops & a condo residence. Walking distance to a huge mall. We paid RMB 688 using a corporate rate which is fantastic value.

宽敞的客房设有带浴缸的阳台，可俯瞰湖景。自助早餐很丰盛。周围环境安静，周围有当地商店和公寓住宅。步行即可到达大型购物中心。我们按照公司价格支付了 688 元人民币，非常超值。

先生特别喜欢鼓浪屿，近几年，每年都会安排一次“漫步 鼓浪屿”，喜欢鼓浪屿的清晨和夜晚。今年先生神秘的说着带你去厦门另一片安静的地方，远眺鼓浪屿。|跟着酒店的班车过海沧大桥，穿过丛林般鳞次栉比的住宅区，不一会就来到鼓浪湾酒店。酒店很安静，路遇的员工都会温磬的微笑点头问好。|大堂内遇见很阳光的帅哥，热情友好地介绍着酒店和周边的景点。621房间，真的是远眺鼓浪屿，远处的日光岩，红瓦的建筑依稀可见。特别是中午，涨满潮的海水，遮去了裸露的海滩，蓝天、白云。兴奋的拿起相机，顶着烈日冲向海边。海边离酒店不远，海边很空旷，唯有我一人，兴奋。。。|由于在酒店住宿2夜，之前一直以为酒店没有去厦门岛的公车。先生比较满意鼓浪湾酒店，执意以后还会来。特地的试着自己坐车来回厦门岛和海沧之间，其实还是很方便的。除了酒店有定时的班车，来回出租车费用也不高，海沧大桥新开辟的引桥，还有就是公车，也不麻烦，我们都试过。|海沧，没有什么特别的景区，只是喜欢这里的安静，喜欢这里的海边，远眺鼓浪屿

I stayed there for two nights. The twin room was well decorated and the bed and shower were cozy as well. However, no tea or coffee bag was prepared and the dinnerwares were dirty on the first day I checked-in, which indicated the cleaning and room service quality was poor.

我在那里住了两晚。双床间装饰精美，床和淋浴也很舒适。但入住第一天没有准备茶包和咖啡包，餐具也很脏，这说明清洁和客房服务质量很差。
