SNOOZE Capsule Hotel

After hours of trying to get my money back to no way of coming to an amicable solution, I am writing an honest review to help others when they plan their trip to HK. Aside from the misleading information about their capsules, the one thing this place sticks to is their refund policy despite my attempts to let them showcase hospitality and service. The deluxe double is the exact same bed as a single capsule, so fitting two people will not be comfortable yet the price is more expensive than a single even though you're getting a single for two people. So they are charging for an extra body, yet the body doesn't get extra space. The bathroom is also dirty, with ants crawling (same as the kitchen, if you can call it a kitchen); the trash is always too full, and the sheets are not clean. I went to my capsule with someone else's hair and snoring strip tape on it. When I asked for a refund for the nights I didn't stay, because I felt unsafe there, the receptionist and "manager" on WhatsApp said that their policy does not authorize refunds. Not only do I feel owed money for goods I did not consume, and that they can get back by reselling my capsule to someone else, but there are also no lockers to store personal belongings beyond a 1 foot cube. As a traveler from the US, I have more than just a passport and wallet so my large suitcase can not fit. With my food already stolen from the fridge, and the receptionist basically rolling her eyes, I fear this place is overselling their establishment. I will be sharing photos shortly as it's on my other phone so people can see what this place really looks like. I pray no one else's stuff get stolen like mine did. And I hope I can still get a refund for the 5 nights (I paid for 6). A word to the wise, stay somewhere else if you care about your health, your safety, and your belongings being locked away from thieves. Lastly, because there is no clean air in the rooms, and the AC is always on at 18 degrees, many people cough throughout the night and are getting sick.

我花了几个小时试图退款，却始终无法达成和解，于是写下了一篇诚实的评论，希望能帮助其他计划香港之旅的人。除了关于胶囊房间的误导性信息之外，这家酒店唯一坚持的就是他们的退款政策，尽管我努力让他们展现出热情好客和服务的品质。豪华双人间和单人胶囊房间的床型完全一样，所以两个人住起来会不舒服，但价格却比单人间贵，即使你订的是两人一间的单人间。所以他们收取额外费用，但客人却没有额外的空间。浴室也很脏，到处都是蚂蚁（和厨房一样，如果你能称之为厨房的话）；垃圾桶总是堆得太满，床单也不干净。我去我的胶囊房间时，上面还粘着别人的头发和打鼾胶带。当我因为觉得那里不安全而要求退还未入住的晚数时，接待员和“经理”在 WhatsApp 上说他们的政策不允许退款。我不仅觉得自己没消费的东西被欠了钱，而且他们还可以把我的胶囊转卖给别人拿回来，而且这里也没有储物柜可以存放超过一立方英尺的个人物品。作为一个来自美国的旅行者，我身上除了护照和钱包之外还有好多东西，所以我的大行李箱根本放不下。我的食物已经被人从冰箱里偷走了，前台接待员也翻了个白眼，我担心这家酒店是不是在过度推销他们的设施。我很快就会把照片分享给我的另一部手机，这样大家就能看到这里的真实面貌了。我祈祷没有人的东西像我一样被偷。我希望我还能拿到5晚的退款（我付了6晚的钱）。给聪明人的忠告：如果你关心自己的健康、安全，以及你的物品被锁起来以防被盗，那就去别的地方住吧。最后，由于房间里没有干净的空气，空调总是开在18度，很多人整晚咳嗽，生病了。

Please check details of the Hotel closely! Deluxe Double Capsule is only 105cm wide! I have never experienced more incompetent staff - unfriendly and not helpful. We did not feel welcome or safe at all. On the other hand: if you want to book the cheapest there is - this is totally fine (no charging of phones (USB ports in the bed are not connected), loose cables, no lockers, no breakfast). Good location though.

请仔细查看酒店详情！ 豪华双人胶囊房宽度仅为105厘米！ 我从来没有遇到过更无能的员工——不友好而且不乐于助人。 我们根本没有感到受欢迎或安全。 另一方面：如果你想预订最便宜的——这完全没问题（手机不充电（床上的USB端口没有连接），电缆松动，没有储物柜，没有早餐）。不过位置不错。

The hostel over all is terrible. A real nightmare for few minutes. |The story is we booked through booking more than one hotel, in malaysia and hk. We reached the snooze capsule early before the checkin time and they told us to leave our bags and come again at the check in time. Till this moment every thing is good. When we return back the man in the front desk to me that the booking was cancelled but i didnot receive and thing about that cancellation !!!!!|He offered us a shared room we said ok and paid for that and that’s where the nightmare starts, a terrible small room which was in a terrible apartment includes two restrooms which was disaster ( the least to be said ).|The people inside the apartment were so freaky and my family were so afraid and we refused even to get inside the room. I went down back to the desk asking the man to find us another room he says no rooms are available and until this moment i didn’t receive any cancellation for my booking !!!! I said Okey! I want to go, he said that he will take the price for the first night!! I said i didn’t even stepped into the room !!! He refused to give me the total amount i paid. Once the safety of my family in number one i toke the money and left that terrible place.

Tout d’abord nous avons passé la réservation via le site d’ebookers. L’hôtel avait l’air propre, spacieux et bien situé ce qui nous a donné envie d’essayer pour la première fois un hôtel capsule. En arrivant sur place, impossible de trouver l’entrée (nom de l’hôtel pas noté sur la porte), en entrant dans l’immeuble c’était pas gagné vu la saleté et le mauvais état du local. Perdu dans cet immeuble, nous avons appelé l’hôtel pour demander de l’aide et la personne n’a pas été très aimable donc cela commençait mal. Après un moment on est trouvé par un des assistants (Eduoardo qui a été très sympa) et il nous a amener au guichet et là on découvre que c’est un hostel et pas un hôtel. L’accueil était très serré avec un air sale et étrange, le gérant était pas agréable du tout. On a quand même décidé d’aller voir les capsules et on a été surpris en mal par rapport à ce que le site ebookers présentait. Déjà pas de salle de bain fermée donc juste des rideaux, espace très étroit et pas de place pour ranger de manière sûre les valises. La capsule pour deux ressemble plus à un lit d’enfant et la capsule simple est plus petite. Si vous aimez vous sentir enfermé et sans espace personnel alors allez-y mais je recommande fortement de ne pas y allez. Nous avons voulut annuler notre séjour et le gars ne voulait pas considérer cela comme sa faute mais la nôtre alors que c’est son hôtel qui est médiocre! Heureusement nous avons pu faire le nécessaire et quitter cet endroit horrible pour ne pas souffrir plus longtemps de cet étouffement!

首先，我们通过电子预订网站进行预订。酒店看起来干净、宽敞、位置优越，这让我们想第一次尝试胶囊酒店。到达那里后，不可能找到入口（门上没有注明酒店的名称），考虑到场地肮脏且条件恶劣，进入大楼并不容易。在这座大楼里迷路了，我们打电话给酒店寻求帮助，但那个人不是很友好，所以一开始就很糟糕。过了一会儿，一位助理（Eduoardo，非常友善）找到了我们，他带我们到柜台，在那里我们发现这是一家旅馆，而不是酒店。接待处非常紧张，空气肮脏而奇怪，经理一点也不令人愉快。我们仍然决定去看看胶囊，我们对电子书网站呈现的内容感到非常惊讶。浴室已经没有封闭的了，只有窗帘，空间非常狭窄，没有空间可以安全地存放行李箱。两人胶囊更像是婴儿床，而单人胶囊则更小。如果你喜欢被关起来、没有个人空间的感觉，那就去吧，但我强烈建议不要去那里。我们想取消我们的住宿，那家伙不想认为这是他的错，而是我们的错，尽管这是他的酒店，很平庸！幸运的是，我们能够做必要的事情，离开这个可怕的地方，以免再遭受这种窒息的痛苦！

The capsule itself is nice. You have a lot of privacy and the location is great. Price is also good but -no lockers -only usb port in the capsule/can't charge your laptop -half of the usb ports don't work/are just a hole in the wall -staff not very motivated/friendly -bathrooms were dirty -1 person capsule is very small because you also have to put all your stuff there since they have no lockers -no sign downstairs, not easy to find -common room is super small -breakfast on really small balcony, no space -sent them emails about the situation in Hongkong because i was concerned about the safety and they never replied

胶囊本身很好。你有很多隐私，而且位置很棒。价格也不错但是 -没有储物柜 - 胶囊内只有 USB 端口/无法为笔记本电脑充电 - 一半的 USB 端口无法使用/只是墙上的一个洞 - 工作人员不太积极/友好 -浴室很脏 -1人胶囊非常小，因为你还必须把所有东西放在那里，因为他们没有储物柜 -楼下没有指示牌，不太好找 -公共房间超级小 - 在很小的阳台上吃早餐，没有空间 -给他们发了有关香港情况的电子邮件，因为我担心安全，但他们从未回复

These aren't capsules. These are small bunk beds with a curtain on them. Convenient but for the price and location, pretty bad. We paid for a double capsule and soon discovered it was exactly the same size as the standard capsule. If you're a couple, do yourself a favour and just get 2 for the same price. Wifi was advertised but wasn't accessible. Lockers were also advertised... It was big enough to fit my wallet and phone... Had to walk around for 2 days carrying my laptop. The location itself was weird. Not entirely sure if this place is legally registered as there are no signs outside, and you have to walk into a dodgy-looking apartment building and ask locals if they even know the place exists in their own apartment block... Upon being given our capsule number, we arrive... and someone is in it. I go ask reception and am told 'thats just how it is here'... Helpful. We proceed to take someone elses capsule, and the electric inside doesn't work. So we then take someone elses. On the plus side, we met some really cool people there who we're still in-contact with. They have a communcal area to go hang out, get drunk, etc... and they do free breakfast.

This hotel is a joke! We paid for 2 pax but they sold a single bed to us! Ridiculous. Its old and dirty and no sitting space at all. Really? Hotel? If you are looking for a place like doghouse, book it. Sxxk!

这家酒店简直是笑话！我们付了两个人的钱，结果他们只给我们一张单人床！简直荒谬。它又旧又脏，一点坐的地方都没有。真的吗？酒店？如果你要找像狗窝这样的地方，那就订这家吧。操！
