锦江富园大酒店

We stayed in that hotel as part of a group tour. The property is quite distant from downtown. This is an older property in need of a renovation. The bathrooms in particular have quite a bit of mildew and the caulking is very thick showing multiple layers and it is cracking. The room itself is fine with a firm mattress. The WIFI is extremely slow. Breakfast is ok for an Asian hotel. As our program was very full, we did not get a chance to use the pool or other facilities.

The hotel is an hour out of town, commuting in for the sights was okay as upon our return we found plenty of eateries in the surrounding area and a large modern mall. Food was very cheap in the area compared with the UK so this was a bonus.||The room was reasonable and not offensive in any way, large comfortable bed and standard amenities.||The main problem was breakfast, large communal tables and one coffee machine for what I would estimate to be 100 diners! There was a queue and the machine regularly stopped as it ran out of milk. I found on day two that there was another machine in the lobby, but who wants to walk out to the lobby during breakfast?! This issue really needs rectifying.||The food itself was ok, not too many western options but hey, we were in China! Staff spoke little English also, but again we got by and why should I expect them to speak perfect English! They tried their best and I am grateful for this.||I didn’t check it out but there was an Olympic since pool, I was put off when advised a swim cap was mandatory.||Overall, average at best, if I visited again I’d head to the centre and pay a little more. (This visit was as part of a tour).

Ok hotel, quite far out of the centre. We stayed here 4 nights as part of a tour of China, so no idea what the tour company paid for the hotel. Probably not too much. The room was good, large with a bath. Fridge in the room, air conditioning and a safe. There is a metro station near to the hotel, 5 min walk. However, you are near the end of a new line, far out of the centre. Breakfast was good, apart from the tea, which they make very weak. Take your own tea bag to breakfast. Presumably the staff didn’t speak English, again this is standard. We didn’t need to speak to reception. Lots of restaurants near to the hotel, but no English menus. Some with photos and prices, so we went there.

The value does not match the price. The lobby is fancy but that is the only part that is. I would give it a higher score if the price was not so high setting an expectation for a better hotel.

It would have got 5 stars, but a DIY coffee machine and the long queue spoilt an excellent hotel.

Very helpful and the staffs are polite and considerate.The room is clean with necessities. A park/garden is in nearby area where you can have a walk and exercise.

Our family of 4 spent 4 nights at this hotel. Upon check in, it was clear that the service would be poor when we could not communicate in English and the staff was less than hospitable. Each of the 4 nights were very uncomfortable when trying to sleep. In the middle of the night, we would get up very warm, noticing that the a/c went from 25 degrees c to 30 degrees c. We tried to adjust the thermostat and complained to the hotel staff with no success. The beds were extra, extra firm. The carpet was very dirty. Daily breakfast buffet was included. The wait and kitchen staff were not friendly or helpful. Most of the food tasted like it was leftover from the day prior...dry and rubbery. The lobby was nice.

A very Beige hotel in every respect which serves a purpose but is a little past it’s best. The check in was ok despite the limited English and the room was clean when I arrived. The window had been left open to air the room as often encountered in Chinese hotels the previous occupant had obviously been smoking despite the signage. |A good size room and large bathroom with separate shower and bath in the king size option I booked. Disappointingly however I decided on a bath but the brown water and sediment changed my mind and I opted to the shower where the beige shower floor at least masked the water colour enough to take my mind off it!|Food options in the hotel are OK but the Japanese restaurant is quite expensive. |There is a lovely park nearby for a walk and a local shopping mall with plenty of alternative eating options. |I’d probably not rush back for a return visit although it does come in at ‘OK’.
