北京慕田峪长城望山园

We had an amazing stay! Highly recommend. The home is beautiful. The food is delicious. We were able to explore two different parts of the Great Wall. We asked how to get to the part of the Great Wall that is a bit further away and they drove us there. Super kind! Thank you!

Visiting from America for the first time. Spoke some English but was so easy to understand…. Just stopped after seeing the Great Wall. Wonderful food and great people! We felt like we were part of the family. A must stop! Hidden gem. Wished we found this place to stay.

Amazing!!!! Great family and great food! They were very kind and welcoming. They helped us navigate everything as we didn’t speak much Chinese. The place was very clean and neat. Would come here again and highly recommend!! Great location close to the Great Wall and it even had views of the mountains

I highly recommend this hotel! The owner is very nice, and the room was incredibly clean and neat. I forgot to buy my medicine, but the owner kindly gave me some and even made me tea since it was so cold during the winter season when we stayed there in December. The food was delicious, prepared by the lady owner herself. She and her husband were extremely helpful, assisting us with our trip to the Great Wall and fetching us afterward in the heavy snow. They also helped us book a taxi back to the Beijing train station. Overall, I am very grateful for our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Mutianyu Wangshanyuan Homestay. It was one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Beijing. We had a comfortable ride from Beijing to Mutianyu driven by Mr Yang. As we were not following any bus schedule, we could have a leisurely lunch at the Homestay before heading for the Great Wall. The cable car ride and toboggan ride down was fun. It was not crowded at all at the Wall and there was time to take in the view and the space to go as far as your legs could carry you. ||Food at the homestay was excellent, filling and delicious. The bed was really comfortable and I had a nice view of the mountains. It was a great away-from-city feel. Chatting with Mr Yang felt like we were talking to an old friend. We extended our visit to side tours of the Ming Tombs arranged by Mr Yang. Mr Yang also very kindly dropped us back at the Beijing train station despite making one additional trip to pick up our luggage. Overall the stay was better than we had expected and we would highly recommend an extra night stay at Wangshanyuan if time permits.

我们在慕田峪望山园民宿度过了一段非常愉快的时光。这是我们北京之行做出的最佳决定之一。在杨先生的带领下，我们从北京到慕田峪的旅程很舒适。由于我们没有遵循任何巴士时刻表，因此我们可以在前往长城之前在民宿悠闲地享用午餐。乘坐缆车和平底雪橇很有趣。长城上一点也不拥挤，有时间欣赏风景，也有空间可以走多远。 ||寄宿家庭的食物很棒，丰盛又美味。床真的很舒服，而且我可以看到美丽的山景。这是一种远离城市的美妙感觉。和杨先生聊天就像是在和一个老朋友聊天。我们在杨先生的安排下参观了十三陵。杨先生还非常友善地把我们送回北京火车站，尽管又多跑了一趟去取行李。总的来说，住宿比我们预期的要好，如果时间允许，我们强烈推荐在望山园多住一晚。

Delicious home cooked food and great service from our host! He gave us a free room upgrade, free watermelon and home cooked pork stew, settled transport and tickets to the great wall for us. Sunset from the back of the house was serene and pretty. Very friendly family, highly recommend staying here.

美味的家常菜和房东的优质服务！他给我们免费升级了房间，免费提供西瓜和家常炖肉，还帮我们解决了交通和长城门票。从房子后面看去的日落是宁静而美丽的。非常友好的家庭，强烈推荐住在这里。

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. From the moment we booked the owners were communicative and caring. We arranged for transport from Beijing and were greeted on time in a very nice car. Everything was made very easy for us. Arriving to the homestay we were upgraded for free to a larger room. The room itself was beautiful with all the essentials and a very comfy bed. Breakfast and Dinner were made by hand by the family and it was some of the best food we have experienced. From handmade dumplings to delicious breakfast and fresh fruit. She even packed us a lunch for one of our day trips to the Great Wall. The family went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. The hosts helped us organize which sections of the wall to see and gave us sound recommendations, once again ensuring everything was easy for us and that we were able to enjoy as much of the Great Wall as possible. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. I would love to come back someday. It was the highlight of our trip.
