voco Hefei Binhu, an IHG Hotel

真是一次不同以往的入住体验，从第一天入住那一刻起，先是Mr. Josh Wang先是帮我把一个非常重的箱子搬到房间，还给我耐心地演示了房间中的高科技，一下子就把我带进了一个新的世界，没想到音乐可以随心所欲的播放，房间的窗帘、浴室的玻璃、还有各种电器，可以这样的控制，甚至添水或添加额外洗梳用品，都不需要人来服务，但又处处能感受到服务员背后的周到与体贴，特别是Josh还亲手送上他洗的水果。在这短短的两天的入住中，无处不在的科技与狠话。下一次有机会来合肥，一定会再一次选择Voco。

酒店服务人员服务周到，会主动帮助提行李箱，入住简单快捷。入住无需房卡，电梯和房门为刷脸方式。房间整洁明亮，房间内部设施智能程度高。

预订了两晚套房，在酒店并未主动提前致电的情况下我特意在入住前一天给酒店打了电话说明了赠送欢迎果盘和到店较迟希望入住前开好夜床的愿望，酒店方面欣然答应，可是第二天办理入住后发现没有果盘也没有开好夜床，房间角落里甚至有挺厚的灰尘，特别令人失望的是办理入住时前台态度冷冰冰的，早餐用餐时也没有人接引，两天的入住过程中没有遇到一次主动问候，好在退房时换了个前台态度友善，之前选择入住voco是听说是一家新开的智能化酒店于是带女友趁五一假期前来体验，可是房间里的天猫精灵貌似没有联网不太能用哈哈，住店期间其他客人貌似可以刷脸进入房间和公共区域，然而不知道是不是前台忘记给我录入人脸了，我刷人脸总是失败，总体来说对此次voco之旅比较失望

Stayed here recently on an roadtrip across China - first time in Hefei and first time staying at a Voco property. Overall quite impressed - well outfitted rooms, good friendly service, and a rather unique Indian restaurant on site. The location is a bit odd - in a under-development office park & residential area in Baohe, ~15 km from the center of Hefei. But overall - it was quite close to the quality of a "fancier" Sheraton/Marriott/Intercontinental etc, but with a bit more personality too and a slightly cheaper price..||||- Room was exactly like the pictures on the website - a bold mix of colors/modern style. Nice comfortable sitting area too in the 40 sqm space. Two particular comments would be they had a rather complicated room control system with a screen display at the desk and voice control capabilities; we didn't really figure it out (or try) on our one night stay - but also not sure if it had English either. Parts of the lights were automated too - which is a bit annoying when one person trying to leave a bit earlier than another still sleeping. On the positive side - the shower had the clearest pushbutton setup between the handle and the overhead, temp control etc I've seen in a long time - so often you can't figure out what does what, but no problems here...||- I was honestly confused initially - an Indian Restaurant in a suburban Hefei chain hotel? But yes, instead of the generic all day whatever sort of dining places you often see, this was a decent Indian option that was packed on our Friday night stay with non-hotel guests (a Meituan special may have helped). Was it the most authentic Indian I've ever had? No, a bit under-spiced to me at least...but they were trying with a reasonable menu of more northern Indian staples. Online reviews cite an Indian chef, but we didn't see ourselves. ||- Service overall was a definite positive - probably the newness (open just over a month it sounded like), but the greeting at checkin was actually warm, the hotel offered free breakfast above and beyond, and seemed really excited to demonstrate the room and features to us. Honestly among the ~10 hotel stays I've had across China in the last 2 months - probably the most enthusiasm I've seen in any Western chain hotel. Hopefully they can keep it up. ||- Breakfast was probably the one part that showed the slightly lower-tier positioning of the hotel...selection was maybe more like a better Hampton or Atour than the higher-grade hotels. No real bread as one comment, but a decent selection of the standard fresh made eggs and noodles. Coffee - not sure if they'll keep this up, but they had a barista making fresh espresso beverages - that's more than you usually get.||||Overall this hotel was a good stay with a personality. We had a short overnight and some things to do so skipped central Hefei, but otherwise you'd have to have a purpose to staying here. I'd definitely check out more Voco properties in China in the future (seem very different than US, where they look like rundown hotels moving over from other brands)...

最近在一次穿越中国的公路旅行中住在这里——第一次来合肥，也是第一次入住 Voco 酒店。总的来说，给人留下了深刻的印象——设备齐全的房间，良好友好的服务，还有一家相当独特的印度餐厅。位置有点奇怪——位于包河一个未开发的办公园区和住宅区，距离合肥市中心约 15 公里。但总的来说 - 它的质量非常接近“高级”喜来登/万豪/洲际酒店等酒店，但也更具个性，价格也稍微便宜一些。.||||- 房间与网站上的图片一模一样- 大胆的色彩组合/现代风格。 40 平方米的空间里也有漂亮舒适的休息区。两个特别的评论是他们有一个相当复杂的房间控制系统，在桌子上有一个屏幕显示和语音控制功能；我们住了一晚并没有真正弄清楚（或尝试） - 但也不确定它是否有英语。部分灯光也是自动化的——当一个人试图比另一个还在睡觉的人早一点离开时，这有点烦人。从积极的一面来看，淋浴间在手柄和头顶之间有最清晰的按钮设置，温度控制等是我很长时间以来见过的，所以你经常不知道什么是做什么的，但这里没有问题...... ||- 老实说，我最初很困惑 - 合肥郊区连锁酒店的印度餐厅？但是，是的，这里不是你经常看到的那种全天通用的就餐场所，而是一个不错的印度选择，在我们周五晚上与非酒店客人的住宿中挤满了人（美团特价可能会有所帮助）。这是我吃过的最正宗的印度菜吗？不，至少对我来说有点辣……但他们正在尝试提供更多北印度主食的合理菜单。网上评论提到了一位印度厨师，但我们没有看到自己。 ||- 整体服务绝对是积极的 - 可能是新的（听起来才开业一个多月），但登记入住时的问候实际上很热情，酒店提供免费早餐，而且似乎很兴奋地展示房间和功能给我们。老实说，在过去 2 个月里我在中国各地住过的约 10 家酒店中，这可能是我在任何西方连锁酒店中见过的最热情的酒店。 希望他们能够坚持下去。 ||- 早餐可能是显示酒店定位略低的一个部分...选择可能更像是比高档酒店更好的汉普顿或亚朵。没有真正的面包作为一条评论，但是标准的新鲜鸡蛋和面条的不错选择。咖啡 - 不确定他们是否会继续这样做，但他们有一个咖啡师制作新鲜的浓缩咖啡饮料 - 这比你通常得到的要多。||||总的来说，这家酒店是一次很好的住宿，很有个性。我们度过了短暂的一夜，并做了一些事情，所以跳过了合肥市中心，但否则你必须有一个留在这里的目的。我将来肯定会去中国看看更多 Voco 酒店（看起来与美国非常不同，它们看起来像是从其他品牌搬过来的破旧酒店）...

The stuff are all welcome and always with smile in their face. The upgraded room is very big. The room key is my face by the camera on the door. Very conveniently and technologically

The hotel is new and located near the industrial park. Since there is no strong commercial area aside, sleeping quality is relatively good, very quite.

酒店很新，位于工业园区附近。由于旁边没有什么强商业区，所以睡眠质量比较好，很安静。
