I booked this motel via elong website. Initially, I booked for one hotel at the town center but at a more expensive price. When this motel offered a promotional price of RMB99 I immediately changed my mind and confirmed this motel as my choice. ||||The location of the motel is about 20 mins walk from the busy town center and you tend to lose out on the convenience of exploring the many restaurants and eateries and the easy accessibility to the entrance of the attractions of the Confucius temples. ||||Nevertheless, there are public buses for example bus no. 5 that ply directly to the town center if you prefer not to walk. And the fact that it is further away from the town center, I found myself closer to the life of the ordinary locals. Behind the motel is a residence area filled with shops, eateries and market and during my stroll, I witnessed a wedding ceremony celebrated in the local style and tried the local delicious dishes and locally baked biscuits. ||||The motel is not very far from the train station. We came to Qufu from Taian by train and the hard seat train ticket cost us RMB7.50 (per pax). The journey took around two and a half hrs and on arrival at the Qufu train station, we took a public bus no. 5 outside the train station to our motel. We showed the address of the motel to the bus driver and he was extremely helpful and alighted us at the bus stop right opposite our motel at 16 Jingzhuan Road East. Before we alight, the bus driver elaborated further the various locations of the attractions in Qufu so that we knew how to travel in the town but he spoke with such a `severely strong' Shandong accent that I could not figure out what he was trying to say. Nevertheless, deep in my heart, I thanked him for his helpfulness. Because of this kind ambassador, I have great respect and good impression of this little town that honored herself as the birthplace of Confucius, the Great ancient sage and philosopher. ||||At the motel, the documentation process was efficient and the staff courteous. The room that I was allocated was at the second floor. There is a lift and I was impressed with the modernity, cleanliness and the simplicity of the room and the toilet cubicle. I particularly liked the blended orange and purple color tone of the walls. ||||The room was equipped with a wall mounted TV set and my wife became glued to the interesting TV programs and for one lunch she was too lazy to walk out of the room and I had to hunt around the local stalls to pack food for her. ||||The standard of living in Qufu is lower than Qingdao, Jinan and Taishan. We love to have our meals at one of the Taiwanese restaurants here by the name of Yonghe Jiang restaurant that served soya bean drinks and healthy food and the two outlets of this Taiwanese restaurants are located at the town center.||||Qufu is a lovely little town. I took a morning stroll from the motel out to the `countryside' to visit some of the tombstone attractions and I was impressed with the tranquility and serenity of the area. On the way back, it started to drizzle. The rain added to the mysterious atmosphere of this ancient city state of Lu. ||||I love Confucianism, love this little town of Qufu, love her people, the food and the culture. I also love this motel. It is value for money.

For what you pay at around 122 RMB per night this represents decent accommodation for a single traveller; ||Pros;||Large bed||Good bathroom and shower, nice hot water, good towels||Good table for computer||Small water dispenser with hot and cold and tea making facilities||Plasma screen wall TV but only local channels||Free Internet||Fairly roomy||Piped in heating radiator AND air conditioning||Friendly staff||Chinese Breakfast available at 15RMB extra||||Cons:||Usual chaotic scenes at checkin with staff trying to deal with 2/3 customers at a time instead of doing it one by one. Everybody fielding questions at the same time but No big deal in China.||I was near the lift/elevator and the kids in the other room made a racket and you could hear just about everything in the corridor but that's not unusual in China. It got quiet later on but for a couple of obviously inebriated young lads being loud at the end of the night. I'm used to it so wasn't too bothered.||||Dispite the radiator pumping out heat and using the AC my legs were cold and the temprature never got to an comfortable even level. It was -6+ outside though. They need double glazing to avoid draughts. ||||The bed was big and hard just as the Chinese like it. If you don't like it well..................||||There was no wardrobe just some hangars above the mirror and only one chair at the corner table||||I thought the hotel was a little far out but as I did an enormous amount of walking while in Qufu it didn't seem so far at the end of the day.||||There were a few very uninspiring restuarants round the corner for dinner which I did not try.||||||All in all this would be a good choice for a single/couple for a day or two. It represented very good value for money. 莫泰168还不错，整体环境看着还挺干净的，床单被单感觉挺干净的。房间有点小，里面配套设施还行吧，正常有的都有，应该是新的，它是新开的。隔音效果还行，反正没听到隔壁什么声音。它在高速出口朝右一拐就到了，酒店旁边是大路。服务还行吧。

总体还好，装修简单干净不乏时尚，只是浴室里的下水道实在不流畅，还没洗完澡就已经成河了，要是能不定时检查维护就好了。

不知道什么原因，热水不是很热，晚上洗澡有点难受，。服务员态度一般般，可能跟当地人素质普遍一般有关。总体还比较干净、整洁。

我们是在回北京的时候路过曲阜，住过两次，总体来说还算可以，房间好像好久没人住过，感觉有些阴凉，其次就是价钱有点高
