去年7月底，我在苏格兰酒堡旅游,虽然仅有两天，但是给我留下了非常难忘的美好印象：|美好印象之一：苏格兰酒堡是我国境内唯一的具有16世纪苏格兰古堡建筑风格的个性化酒庄，它依山而建，风景秀丽，身在其中恍如来到了中世纪的苏格兰古堡；|美好印象之二：苏格兰酒堡附近分布着占据天然优势条件的葡萄园，种植着10多种欧洲传统的贵族葡萄品种，酒庄采用法国传统工艺酿制的葡萄美酒让我更加难忘；|美好印象之三：苏格兰酒堡配备有高级客房、特色客房，人性化配置、极具异国风情，可以让客人度过一个既温馨自如、又新奇神秘的夜晚，|美好印象之四：苏格兰酒堡的主人非常热情周到的服务，让我有“宾至如归”的亲切感受，无论是派员接送、导游讲解，还是美酒品尝、餐饮安排，都十分令人满意。

I'm from Scotland, but I've been living in China for 11 years. I was surprised (but not that surprised) to hear that someone had built a Scottish Castle in the heart of Shandong. Apparently, the stone there is very similar to Scottish granite, so, well why not?||||We were met by a classic London taxi cab, and whisked 20 minutes up through vineyards and orchards, the latter groaning with small ornamental apples, each one individually wrapped in a paper bag, apparently due to be shipped as ornaments direct to Japan.||||The vineyards get more plentiful, then suddenly we are surrounded by yards of straight and pristine vines, each collection individually demarcated by a stone marker with the grape variety inscribed in Chinese and English. These are the Treaty Port Vineyards, and at their heart is a huge granite keep, reminiscent of something that Bonnie Prince Charlie would have stormed back in the 1700's as he took over Scotland piece by piece.||||We were welcomed by Emma, a smiley and charming Taiwanese lady who kept the castle running smoothly. We were shown to a beautiful and huge room with a traditional four poster, kitted out in Tartans of all different hues. Dinner was in the huge banquet hall, 3 delicious courses paired, of course, with the fantastic Treaty Port wines (and the locally brewed cider). Breakfast was in the same place, a wonderful full English breakfast. ||||There is lots to do nearby - horse riding at the local equestrian centre, hill climbing, wine tastings and even some great beaches nearby. If none of that appeals, then just lazing around the castle and the local hotspring would be an amazing way to spend a weekend. Go - you will never have a similar experience anywhere else.

I stumbled on a couple of mentions of this place online, and since we were in the area, we decided to drop by. The website was down, no one was answering the only phone number we could find, but luckily my friends were willing to take a chance, and so the driver we had booked for the day went searching for the Scottish castle in the Shandong countryside - not an easy task. ||||Through some sort of miracle, we found it, and it was amazing. We walked in and were greeted by Emma, a very friendly Taiwanese woman working there, who poured us generous portions of three of their wines and one of their whiskeys to taste, which were amazing (we ended up buying a few bottles to take home). Following that we were given a tour of the castle - and met the very friendly (notice a theme?) owner, who was up for the weekend. Finally we had an amazing 4-course lunch in the library, nicely paired with one of their wines. ||||We were staying in a hotel in Penglai, but the castle apparently has 6 guest rooms, and there are also cheaper rooms available in the nearby "Farmhouse", complete (we were told) with traditional kang beds. If you're going to stop by randomly, weekends are probably safest, and I believe the opening hour were 8am to 4pm. They're also closed for two months during the winter when the snow makes it difficult to reach the castle. ||||I could definitely see myself coming back to stay here for a relaxing weekend away. Highly recommended.

Only in China. The accommodation here is in a faux Scottish castle amid wine country so untested that vintners seem to have planted every known grape variety in a pot-luck approach to production.||||Have no fear: this is not some Disneyland piece of plastic but a fun retreat with a good deal of taste and modern convenience. We stayed in the 'Baron's Room', all four-poster beds and powerful concealed air conditioners installed for the scorching summer of Shandong province.||||We found friendly staff and tasty food. Wandering the grounds and getting a tour of the winery provide a real eye-opener to the burgeoning Chinese wine market. And, of course, guests will get to try plenty of its produce! There have been plenty of horror stories about Chinese wine, but it's clear that Treaty Port is a serious business successfully rewriting many of them.||||Whether you're a China resident seeking a refreshing break from the city or a visitor after an unusual China experience, this could be the place for you.

If you need a real rural China, that's the place to go. People are very nice there. Real Scottish castle, best visit from April to Nov.fantastic view from top of mountain nearby. Nian Army's fortress is still there to see. A lake nearby to visit. If you go on August/September, you could ask for apple picking.. In April/May, Local cherry and apricot picking..

如果您需要一个真正的中国乡村，那么这里就是您该去的地方。那里的人都很好。真正的苏格兰城堡，四月至十一月是最佳游览时间。从附近的山顶上可以欣赏到美妙的景色。捻军的堡垒还在，可以看看。附近有一个湖可以参观。如果你八月/九月去，你可以要求采摘苹果。四月/五月，采摘当地的樱桃和杏子。

I have to say t felt slightly surreal as i was met by a London Taxi at the airport and then driven to the castle.||||Id seen images on the web but nothing prepared me for this amazing experience.||||THe castle is a real castle !! but 5* with satellite TV in the wonderful bedrooms, piping hot water...in fact i could have been at Gleneagles not Shandong China.||||The food is great..interior of the castle amazing and the staffs attention to detail and service was of a wonderful standard for anywhere never mind China.||||did i mentio the wineyards and whisky tastings||||anyway words cant do it justice...go yourself you will not be disspointed in fact you will be wonderfully amazed !!

我不得不说，当我在机场遇到伦敦出租车，然后开车前往城堡时，我感觉有点超现实。||||我在网上看到了图片，但我没有为这次奇妙的经历做好准备。||||THe城堡是一座真正的城堡！但五星级的房间很棒，有卫星电视，还有滚烫的热水……事实上，我本可以去格伦伊格尔斯而不是中国山东。||||食物很棒……城堡的内部令人惊叹，工作人员对细节的关注服务在任何地方都是一个很好的标准，更不用说中国了。||||我有没有提到酒庄和威士忌品鉴||||无论如何，言语无法公正地描述它......你自己去吧，事实上你不会失望的奇妙地惊讶！
