We had lunch here before the start of our tour of Wu Tai Shan. Food was good for us as they managed to tone down on the oil and salt used.

The best hotel in Wutaishan with its beautiful architecture, green environment, fresh air, spacious compound for hanging around. The hotel itself already a nice tourist attraction and destination. Always feeling like better to stay in the hotel rather than going out if the tourist are crowded during weekends or holidays.

五台山最好的酒店，建筑精美，环境绿化，空气清新，院落宽敞，适合闲逛。酒店本身已经是一个不错的旅游景点和目的地。如果周末或节假日游客拥挤，总是感觉最好呆在酒店而不是出去。

The hotel has the highest ratings here, but in fact it is just average. Location is convenient. Room wasnt big, but there was enough space for two people. The cleanliness is definitely an issue. When we first got there toilet seat had stains on it (yikes), sink and bathroom also didnt look clean. I had to clean it with sanitizing wipes (highly recommend to bring some if staying there). But the biggest problem was the sewer smell, that was getting especially strong in the morning. The smell wasnt specific to our room, the pool in front of the reception had the same smell. Heating system in the room worked well. Breakfast was average with decent selection, but mostly Chinese food. Bathroom is separated from the room by the glass wall. You can cover it with a curtain, but the light from bathroom still lights up the entire room and makes it difficult to sleep when another person is taking a shower.

We arrived for a one-night stay in july and the rooms were not ready until 3.30 pm. reservations had been mixed up and it all seemed quite confusing. English was also a problem. the hotel has the air of a luxury hotel, but unfortunately this is not true for the rooms. Lunch at the hotel was fantastic, with local specialties on the menu and we enjoyed it very much while waiting for our rooms to be ready. the rooms are average size, but cleanliness was an issue. perhaps because of the hurried cleaning the room was far from clean with pubic hair clearly visible in the bathroom. it is cold in the mountains, even in july, but there was no working heating to be found. for those relying to TV for entertainment and information, there are only 4 stations programmed and their reception is far from perfect.breakfast is average in a very cramped space.

Great location just off the main street. We were in building three, with all the rooms around a central coutyard which was a great place to sit and have a beer at the end of a day visiting temples. The staff were very friendly, but it was easier to seek what we wanted from one of the shops near the entrance. However very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with reasonable choices even though we were the only non Chinese guests. The restaurant had very good food. Our favourite was the lamb.

This hotel is in good location. Clean and have all the necessities you need in the room. We stay in double room,and we get full size bed which is quite small for two. My friend's room is twin room, it is newer. However, the bathroom is quite naked, even the toilet. |Breakfast is ok. My only comment about it, is the the chefs at egg and noodle station. They seem like they lost the will to service....

Well not impressed, the first room I was given I could not even get past the door due to the smell of cigarette smoke (I had requested a non smoking room). The next room did not smell as bad, but it was quite dusty and not very clean, the carpet was terribly stained, On the second night of my stay I dropped my ring and it rolled under the bedside table, when I shifted this, apart from the mouldy dust there was a pile of peanuts on the floor plus a couple of large tooth flossers, how long were these thing there?. My guide raised this with the Hotel Manager on check out, but it left an extremely bad impression of the property. A hotel is more than just a showy lobby! Breakfast was mediocre.

I stayed for one night with a group. The area is very convenient. On arrival, we had lunch near the hotel. There are many small shops and restaurants and the area is quite attractive.||There are more than 100 temples in this area and some are near the hotel so after an afternoon of exploring 5 temples and dinner, we found we could walk to the hotel.||The hotel was quite pleasant and the staff were courteous. The room was attractive and clean and had all amenities we needed.||Breakfast was adequate although the room was a bit small to accommodate all the guests who seemed to choose the same time to have breakfast, but that's a small point.||Overall I found the hotel quite good and combined with the excellent location I was happy we stayed there.
