This is one of those city bargains that one rarely finds in these days of international travel. The Letian Garden Hotel (spelled Lotin Garden Hotel at the location) is in Gaozhou, a small city by Chinese standards (about 500K) about 4 hours south of Guangzhou and not on the usual tourist route which is why the prices are so low. For about 355 rmb ($45.00) you can have a luxury room that would be the equivalent of $400.00 a night in Manhattan. The rooms are large, beautifully appointed, with feather and down bedding with silk accents, a huge marble bathroom with separate wet-room shower and modern stand alone tub. If you like to watch tv in any room, they've got that covered, too. Includes free wiifii.||||The hotel is about 3 years old and they are currently upgrading the property to include a deluxe mineral spring spa which will have several different hot pools. Currently there is a lovely garden area with a pool array with swim up bar, and another area for children. ||||This is a Chinese-focused hotel and is not expecting many foreign tourists so if you like a more authentic luxury experience, this is the place. Breakfast is included in the price and the buffet offers a number of typical local dishes, including dumplings, fried egg, local fruits, fresh-squeezed juices, and much more. ||||They are building high-rises around the property and judging by the display in the lobby I'm assuming they will be looking to attract visitors who will timeshare here and use the spa. It is outside the main downtown center of Gaozhou, a city that may only be appealing to those adventurous ones who want to get out of the big tourist cities like Beijing or Guangzhou and really feel like you can soak in the true atmosphere of life here. No-one speaks English which can be a challenge (we have a guide/translator) and as a Westerner I received a lot of curious stares but this kind of experience I prefer to being herded with others in large groups to tour. ||||The hotel is not in the city center but if you are looking for a true luxury experience at a bargain price, and if you come in the late spring you can pick your own lychees from the many groves this area is famous for.||||You can drive here on the new freeway but drivers are apt to not stay within the lines so the train is a better option. Takes about 8 hours.

Please do not expect this 5 Stars Hotel way too high and too much. Since this resort is located far west end of Guangdong Province. To be honest this is about 3.5 - 4 Stars as urban standard. Bedrooms are newly renovated and facilities are still mainly in construction ...|Bedroom is clean and quiet. Bathroom with bathtube and 2 built in TV. |No convenient store in the hotel and must rely on room service for food and drink.|Basically , the hot spring pools are worth to try, better beware of lack off lights and clocks around. For me , once is enough.

This hotel in the remote town of Gaozhou is absolutely fabulous. Great decor and facilities. Splurge on the private dining rooms and the spa is a must. Staff speak fairly good English and very helpful. There are no taxis in the town but motorbike taxis are plenty and cheap.

这家位于高州偏远小镇的酒店绝对是神话般的。很棒的装饰和设施。挥霍一下私人餐厅和水疗中心是必须的。工作人员英语说得很好而且非常乐于助人。镇上没有出租车，但摩托车出租车很多而且便宜。

酒店环境不错，服务态度也不错，就是房间隔音效果不太好，走廊说话听的很清楚。房间比较宽敞，看起来还算干净，色调挺好。有网线无电脑，美中不足。酒店还不错，一如既往的如家服务，位置太偏，出来根本打不到车。

酒店很高级很漂亮，饭菜不错，也许住的不是豪华套房吧，房间大小一般，不过厕所挺大挺豪华的，有泳池，温泉和水上乐园。不过吃晚餐的时候，我们其中一员问过领导能不能要酸奶，领导也是同意了的，结果服务员非要我们马上给请钱，我们说了待会领导会另外给钱的，可他们就是坚持要我们给钱，后来导游还有领导跟他们说了他们才勉强点点头，其他都挺不错的就这点让我们不是很满意。

2017年元旦日入住茂名高州樂天溫泉度假村, 真的沒有選擇錯. 酒店環境優美, 房間舒適, 還有三台電視, 分別在房間, 浴缸前及坐廁前, 但浴缸那台只有3個頻道, 坐廁前的電視開不了. ||浴室好大, 洗臉盆都有兩個, 還有梳妝台連椅子, 這都是一般酒店少有的.||元日日晚在酒店食自助餐, 人不多, 款式及種類都可以, 一家人都好滿意. ||酒店還附設溫泉區, 就在酒店傍, 而且開放時間長, 食完自助餐再慢慢休息完才去泡溫泉. 溫泉池應有十幾個吧, 池水清潔亦夠熱, 好舒服. 可惜泳池及滑梯池都是冷水, 未能暢泳一番, 下次會考慮再來.
