Riverside Wing Hotel Guilin

Great location in a lovely Japanese-styled rooms with tatami mats and a tea set. Location: Faces the Li River with a road in between. Short walk to the Elephant Hill area, and the lively pedestrian shopping street just behind it. The surrounding area comes alive at night with buskers along the Li River promenade, and food and shopping just behind. Very convenient to take a didi car to any location. Room: Modern with Japanese touches like the tatami mats. I like the layout which has a foyer to take off shoes before stepping into the room which is a raised wooden platform. The room is also very well-lit and bright. You must remember to pull the curtains for privacy cos the front is all glass. Tye galss panels lets in lots of light and faces the tree lined promenade so I really like it. Ear plugs are provided for light sleepers but I found the noise level ok.

Esta reseña es para el hotel Riverside Wing Hotel, no es ningun albergue como dicen en otro comentario. Su ubicacion real se encuentra en la esquina entre la calle Yiren y la calle Bingjang. La ubicacion es perfecta, al lado del parque de las pagdas y de las vistas de la colina del elefante, y muy cerca de las calles de puestos de comida, con buenas cafeterias y restaurantes cerca. La habitacion era muy buena. La cama del suelo era realmente comoda, y la ducha funcionaba perfectamente y era muy buena. Tiene una neverita, el aire acondicionado funciona bien y hay espacio para las maletas. Hay un ventanal muy grande que da a la calle, aunque los arboles tapan todas las vistas. Apenas hay ruido. El servicio del hotel ha estado impecable, amables y explicandonos todo desde el principio, ofreciéndonos actividades y hasta dabándonos un pequeño regalo al salir. Hemos estado muy a gusto. Los unicos contras serian que no tenia desayuno, aunque hay buenas cafeterias y pasteleria cerca, el unico ascensor lento, que en algunos momentos te hacia esperar varios minutos, y que era un poco mas caro que en otras zonas. Sin embargo, estamos muy satisfechos y repetiriamos sin dudarlo.

Wunderschönes Hostel, sehr freundliches & hilfsbereites Personal. Wir haben von Bruce und Alyssa sogar ein Geschenk erhalten. & Jenny hat uns eine unglaublich schöne Töur in die Berge organisiert. Sehr empfehlenswert.
