I'm not sure that we stayed in the same place as the last reviewer. This is for Super 8 in Yarkand (Shache). This hotel was great, considering its rating, and compared to other hotels we stayed at in Xinjiang and elsewhere in China. Spacious room, big bed that was not as hard as a rock, pillows with and without beads, sockets beside bed, good lighting, and the best shower we saw in China (including several higher ranked hotels). There was a desk with one chair, a hanging area rather than a wardrobe, no mini fridge but mini bar type items to purchase, a good hairdryer, good TV with Chinese channels, reliable wifi, individual air conditioning units. Kettle with poor tea bags, not Chinese tea, so bring your own. Ubiquitous window to bathroom, but not see through. Hotel appears to be new, or newly renovated. Breakfast was great, mostly Chinese but plenty of fruit and boiled eggs. Only criticism was shared with most hotels we stayed at in China, which was that the room was used by smokers, and the corridors were also smoky. Good location in new town, lots of small shops locally including a fancy bakery (Aili), and close to People's Park. Not easy walking distance to Altun tombs however. Heavy police/army presence. Lots of building around the hotel, but noise was not an issue. Restaurants in building, didn't try.

Super 8 is somehow associated with the USA namesake. We were surprised at how absolutely clean the place was. Okay, breakfast was a bit disappointing, but it was wholesome and fresh and even though there seemed to be no coffee (despite an unintelligible Nestle Multiple Choice brewing machine!).||||The room was utilitarian with a big TV screen and okay internet (no extra charge for it). The staff did not speak much English, but the lobby folks were friendly and eager to please.||||Oh yes: At check-in ask for the heater/air conditioner controller. (It will take patience to make the thing work! Try setting it at 25 C... even set that high, the AC worked just fine!)||||Did I mention the cleanliness of the hotel? Impressive! And the shower worked just fine. I don't know the cost because we paid for it through our tour operator.||||In short: We liked the hotel.

A barely average hotel. Linen and towels were worn out. The lifts were dirty. The breakfast was typically Chinese, with no other options. No one spoke English. Not tourist-friendly. The only good thing about the hotel is its central location in town.|

一家勉强算得上普通的酒店。床单和毛巾都破旧不堪。电梯很脏。早餐一般是中式的，没有其他选择。没有人会说英语。对游客不太友好。这家酒店唯一的优点是它位于市中心。
