乾阳大酒店

Stayed here one night as part of our tour package. Had little expectation since our tour guide pre-alert us that this hotel is not as nice as the hotels Beijing. To our surprise, even though the hotel/ room look abit dated, the room is in tiptop condition. It's very well maintained, very clean and comfortable. Rather good spread of buffet breakfast.

作为我们旅游套餐的一部分，在这里住了一晚。没什么期望，因为我们的导游预先提醒我们这家酒店不如北京的酒店。 令我们惊讶的是，尽管酒店/房间看起来有点过时，但房间的条件非常好。它维护得很好，非常干净和舒适。 自助早餐种类相当丰富。

Our tour group booked into this hotel for our visit to Chengde. After reading the many 1- and 2-star reviews I was expecting the worst. But it was not as bad as that.||||The room is a fair size and yes the lighting is dim. The bed was comfortable and clean, though the floor carpeting was worn and stained. The room and bathroom was "tired" looking, but at least the water was hot.||||As for the breakfast, the style and taste is quite different from Beijing. It's not bad per se, just unusual. What I found cheesy was while the breakfast is ongoing the hotel staff is hawking paintings on the stage. Are they that desperate for tourist dollars?

I arrived and it was near empty. i don't think I saw anyone else in the hotel. That said, it was spotless, the staff were outstanding and could not do enough for us. We had breakfast in the hotel but ate out at local restaurants. There breakfasts were of good quality and plenty of it. The only negative comment is that the room was freezing. This hotel is massive with high ceilings. Marble and lots of wooden carvings. It does remind me of hotels in Moscow back in the 1970s.||The rooms were warm, comfortable and well appointed. ||Chengde is a great place to go, it is not as frantic with tourists and therefore great to get out of the large cities.||The monastery there is magical as are the miniature replicas of the Beijing summer palace.||I managed to take my group to a local school and take part in an english language lesson. The teenagers were so friendly and respectful.

We had a group of 16pax and we checkin Qianyang hotel for a nite stay on 5th march 2012. Before we checkin we had read the previous reviews on this hotel and they were all very negative comments and as such we were so worried! However to our surprise and relief, this hotel has all the neccesary utilities and is in good condition. The bath towels may look old but they are clean and so is the bathroom. There were no crawling insects or bugs as mentioned in previous reviews!! ||The beds were comfortable enough and the bedsheets are clean, As for the breakfast the next morning they serve typical chinese breakfast with congee n vegetables and also toast bread, i suppose since this hotrel is located within the vincinity of the famous Mountain Summer Resort this is by far the best they can provide, ||So for those planning to visit Chengde have peace of mind to stay in this hotel to enjoy the splendours of what Chengde can offer!

I knew ahead of time from other reviews, that this place was not good. However, I was told there were limited options in Chengde and tailored my expectations accordingly. Even so, when 2 out of the 4 rooms we had as a family kept losing electricity, and the staff was telling us not to worry about it, we knew what we were contending it. Had to take the tour guide and head to the front desk to demand a change in rooms. Not maintained with musty odor, and cracks in the walls. Hair in the bathrooms, staircase very dim, and there was no one manning the front desk late at night so I have no idea how secure the hotel was. Breakfast buffet served on tin trains which reminded my husband of his military days. They also ran a sales pitch during breakfast to buy paintings.||This place needs a serious overhaul. Recommend you go elsewhere.

这个酒店感觉一年比一年好，服务上比较好，环境设施每年都改善，装修什么都挺好的，承德市是旅游城市，一到旅游季节很忙，但是服务人员很有耐心，说话方式，还介绍酒店的环境，比较亲切。招待上挺好没态度上比较好。即便是很繁忙态度也很好，住的标间，价钱还比较合理的，八百多，性价比很好，是公司的协议价，房间都比较新离不开卫生方面的维护，服务素质很好。酒店还提供的旅游的服务，收费也挺合理的。位置很好。总体感觉挺好的。

Generally, the hotel is acceptable and cleaniness is OK. quite and old hotel without wifi...or at least the wifi not working. |breakfast is sufficient choice to choose, but it's can be far from the room. lift is small and if you arrived in group, you have to queue up for the lift.

总体来说酒店还可以，清洁度还可以。 相当古老的酒店，没有无线网络……或者至少无线网络不能用。 |早餐选择充足，但离房间有点远。 电梯很小，如果你是团体到达，你必须排队等候电梯。

预订了6间大床，结果来了只有3间大床，更严重的是，房间全是一层的，而且我的房间窗户外面是个大会场！是室内的！周六那个会场开了一天的家具砍价会，不停的吵嚷，隔音差，吵死了！服务态度也很一般，敲门很大声，不主动说他是谁，保险箱是锁着的，服务员来了也打不开！床和被子都很硬，不舒服！早餐含在房间里了，可是很差！吃饭人巨多！种类很少，玉米没味！小米粥有糊味！这里唯一的优势是位置好，距离避暑山庄挺近的。
