The location of the hotel was very calming and charming, surrounded by beautiful mountains and large garden, this hotel really gives you atmosphere. The room was very spacious and modern with a big balcony to enjoy the wind breeze. The staff was nice and well trained, in small city like Dengfeng, this hotel just right to give you good rest after the shaolin and Songshan trip. There were place to rent for playing card and karaoke for entertainment and it was good as well.||The breakfast how ever was not so good with cold coffee but on top of that everything were satisfying. I definitely recommend this !

Our visit started off quite well. Nice large lobby and grand looking entrance. Rooms seem quite big and we had 2 interconnecting rooms - rare for a local hotel. But there's where the decent stuff ended. My shower flooded the bathroom floor because it's designed with no curtain or partition and the drain didn't drain fast enough. The shower in the other room also flooded the floor. The electric curtains didn't work. The hotel engineer came up and climbed all over the window area and bathroom with his filthy shoes on. He explained I had to take the shower drain apart to enable it to drain faster. When going down for dinner several hotel guests smoked in the elevator and most guests smoked in the corridors. The corridors were noisy until after midnight with loud chattering and mobile phone ringings. There is a KTV in the basement and a few adult men and women wandering about. Not a great hotel for families. The service in the restaurant at dinner is snail-like in speed. It took us 45 minutes to get a spaghetti carbonara. |Unfortunately if you are visiting the Shaolin Temple or evening show, you are quite limited in alternative accommodation in this price range. Good luck to anyone staying here. I definitely won't be back if I can help it.

This hotel located near the mountain, very good ambience. You also can see Shaolin show. Stay here only for 1 nite, just bypass through. Room quite clean and comfy. The food also quite nice, having dinner at their restaurant

We decided to bring our kids (ages 8,6,1) for a weekend to visit Mt Song and the famous Shaolin Temple. Since we only had Saturday and half of Sunday to play we decided to stay at this hotel which had decent ratings and is closer to the attractions. It was a very mixed experience. ||||We requested for a hotel van to come pick us up from the airport. Even though our plane was 2 hours late, the driver was not at the gate to pick us up. He was sitting in the car in the parking lot. It was incredibly unprofessional. He had no excuses. He even had a partner who could have stayed in the car if that was an issue. Instead we came out of the hotel and had to call the driver and try to figure out how to meet up. He told us to walk out to parking lot, which we did. But then he runs up to the gate, so we had to walk back to the gate. This is already 10 pm at night, with us towing our luggage and our 3 very tired kids. The van was also a very poor, old, beat up van. I'm amazed the hotel would send such a poor looking car. ||||The hotel itself is quite nice. The rooms are very comfortable. The beds were very big which is a plus for us as we co-sleep with our kids. Housekeeping was not adequate. We had pressed the housekeeping button in the morning before we left for the day, but the time we returned in the afternoon our rooms were still not made. When I called, they said they had been busy all morning (but could send someone right away?). Even though my kids stained the sheets with chocolate, they didn't bother changing it. ||||The buffet is decent. It's of moderate size and selections. A very typical breakfast buffet. Good enough for us. The staff was very kind as they saw I frequently had to hold my 1 year old, they offered to help bring my plate to my table for me. I really appreciate that. ||||The concierge (Vivina) was either plain lacking in IQ or just not very good at her job. She gave us a lot of recommendations as to how to get up to Mt Song. Then we get on a taxi and proceed. The first road we tried was blocked. The second one was also blocked. Finally someone told us that Mt Song had been closed for months for internal renovations. Apparently several months ago there was an accident. It would have been nice to known that ahead of time. When we went back to let Vivina know this, other front desk people apparently already knew Mt Song had been closed to tourists for a few months now. They even asked "did you not check in with us before you headed out?". Obviously we did and were given bad information. ||||Taxis. We were told initially that there were lots of taxis and the wait for a taxi would only be 5 to 10 minutes. This is FALSE. the Hotel is situated away from the city. When they call for a taxi it is closer to 20 minutes wait. My advice is once you have been out and about, collect some taxi business cards and call them yourself, especially if you are going to the airport. ||||Taxi to airport. We got multiple pitches that Saturday for airport rides. The standard rate seemed to be about 300 RMB. I wished we booked any one of them. Instead we asked the hotel to call a taxi for us. My husband asks the Vivina that it should be around 300 RMB right? She states it is going to be 380 RMB. Basically just because the hotel called the taxi, it will be 80 RMB more expensive. This is not a lot of money, but just on principle this is really really wrong. You can charge taxis more if you want as a hotel, but you never pass that fee onto a client. Unless you actually have your own cars. All they did was call a regular taxi for us, and slapped on an extra 80 RMB for that. And if we did not ask, they did not have any plans to inform us of that. ||||Luya waterfalls. Is really close by. They offered to bring us up by golf cart which was really nice. Except they apparently left us by the outside gate when they could have drove us inside. We ended up walking another 2 km just to get to the main area. ||||I really wanted to leave a more positive review, however the the above experiences was just too disappointing. Once you arrive, I recommend collecting taxi business cards and directly talking to them for any pick up and drop off. The hotel will try to "nickel and dime" some extra off the top.

差评！酒店宴会厅工作人员不负责任，让我们的道具都放在宴会厅货物入口，并承诺很安全可以放心，结果我们价值1万左右的道具全丢了，酒店负责人却推卸责任，不予解决，并把电话号码拉黑，态度恶略，这就是五星级酒店？如果不能保证我们所带物品在酒店安全，请问还有谁敢入住酒店，敢在锦鹏生态酒店办活动，婚礼和会议！

我是去嵩山旅游时在携程网预订的此酒店，酒店很新，外观十分大气，离市中心较远，适合有车的家庭，远离城市的喧嚣，因为登封十分小，去市区吃饭什么的有车的话也就5km左右就可以到达，酒店的门童，服务员等十分有礼貌，酒店还有游泳池等设施，早餐也不错，在登封这个小城市应该说是非常好，推荐入住！

As it is not operated by any international brands, you cannot expect much from the hotel. The wifi was not quite stable, somestimes you can connect and sometimes you can't. The food there was just fair, both in restaurants and for room service. |The shower room was big, but there was a blockage problem that the floor drain didn't work.

Big and great hotel. Only stayed there for one night.||Rooms and bathrooms are big, new and clean.||Bathroom with shower and bath.||International breakfast and also Chinese.||The staff understands English.||You can´t miss the visit to the Shaolin Temple and it´s Kungfu School.

又大又棒的酒店。只在那里住了一晚。||房间和浴室很大，新，干净。||浴室有淋浴和浴缸。||国际早餐，还有中文。||工作人员懂英语。||你不能错过参观少林寺及其功夫学校。
