Mira Garden Hotel

A wonderful hotel that is better suited for someone who speaks at least some Mandarin to make the process simpler. The staff will use translators if necessary, so it's not a big issue, and they are extremely accommodating regardless. The hotel room is very comfortable, though the mattress is firm, something that is normal for non-Western hotels but might surprise some, with plenty of free water bottles and even some fruit provided. Apart from your room, nothing is air-conditioned, so do keep that in mind. The breakfast is very expansive in its buffet options as well as offering a chef to make to order meals, and all of this for around 50 USD makes it a worthwhile place to spend your nights in, not very far away from Shanghai.
