Well, this hotel was perfect a few years ago. I remember it was even better than nearby 5 star hotels. I was disappointed this time, because it got old. It doesn't feel like that beautiful Barry hotel it used to be.But, still the location is convenient and the price is very pleasant. Only because of its low price I would recommend it. But don't expect anything fancy. I hope that Barry will be renovated in the nearest future.

Good hotel, with a great location near dadonghai beach and tourist centre. Room was good, although furniture was a bit old and worn. Room service was prompt, and came by every morning like clock work.Lots of restaurants nearby and next door. A supermarket is also next door, you will have to take an escalator downstairs.Due to the location being a tourist area, expect to pay tourist prices, if you prefer to eat at international chain restaurants. Good experience. Would stay again. Note , you check in on the sixth floor.

Two years before we were in this hotel and service was much better than this summer. This summer we got not cleaned room. The furniture was old, and irrigated, the fridge didn’t work and we asked to change it, the air conditioner was dusty, and walls were dusty too. The sink in bathroom wasn’t ok too,it was rusted and there couldn’t run water properly, we asked maintenance to fix it as well. As I said before we were there two years before and we got really nice impression about this hotel that’s why we went there this summer too, but it was last time ever. Also want to add about meals( restaurant ) was really good, a big variety of meals and drinks too.

Barry boutique hotel seems like is living off its last days and they are in a hurry to get as much money as possible from their guests no matter what means. I can’t find any other explanations when you pay around 400 per night and your room is a total mess: curtains with huge holes, dusty mirrors, sandy floors, tired furniture. What’s wrong Barry? We used to be your loyal guests from 2020. It was our fifth stay there. This place used to mean a lot for us and it’s really sad to see the decline. It was nice before . What’s wrong with the breakfast? It was great breakfast few years ago. There were a lot of choice. Now - nothing . Moreover they are cheating now - if your room is more expensive you’ll pay more for that breakfast . We paid about 80 rmb. If you buy cheaper room your breakfast is 40 rmb. Why? Very disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barry hotel! The situation is awesome! In the middle of Dadonghai, 5 minutes to the beach and with many restaurants and shops around. The hotel is well maintained and the check in was easy and smooth. Our room was perfect! Nice and clean with nice views you can see in the picture. Breakfast was ok, mostly chinese options but there’s coffee, milk and toasts. Overall it was a great value and we will definitely come back.

This hotel is pretty good for the price you get. The room on 30. floor had a sea view ,a good shower, tv, wifi all great. The swimming pool is very small. The breakfast had some simple western choices next to a lot good Chinese food. The cafe was not so good. Check in and out all went really fast and smooth. The staff was friendly. I would come back here if I come to Sanya again.

It is always my go to hotel . It’s affordable for longer stays . The location is good close proximity to the beach and food outlets . My only complaint would be that I requested a late check out ( which I would pay for the extra hours) but was refused . So I decided to book an extra night ( so I could have a late check out ) paid the full price and the same room was given . We just wanted to check out at 4 pm as we were heading directly to the airport and I was willing to pay for that 4 hours . Other than that they always clean our room and everything was fine

My stay at the hotel was awesome. It was our second time booking at the hotel. Every time we booked, upon reaching the hotel we got a room upgrade. This time we stayed at the executive suite. The location is amazing as it’s at the center of everything: The beach is just 5 minutes walk, dolphins ,marco polo and an Indian restaurant all within 10 minutes walking distance . There are also beach bars around. We enjoyed the swimming pool as it was during summer unlike when we were there in winter. The rooms were clean and the buffet was pure Chinese selection. Only that this time, they didn’t have much food selection going on.
