Peaceful, beautiful, comfortable. Third time here. One complaint. In the morning I really had to rush to get back from exercising for breakfast before closing at 10:30. When I walked in at 10:10 staff started cleaning the name tags off buffet etc. The cleaner was even mopping around my feet while I was eating. People come here to have a holiday. I understand the staff have to do their jobs etc but breakfast should be a more peaceful experience. Previously I had the same issue with the breakfast.

I doubted before booking because I saw a few not-so-good comments. But when I came, I was admired.The environment is very good, the rooms are clean, cleaned every day, towels are changed, etc., I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel staff, especially Selena Cui and Qinghong Wang, who are very professional and enthusiastic. I will also come to this hotel next time.

So many more positives that I would definitely stay here again - but there are a couple things that could be improved. Here are the good bits:Location: super close to Yalong bay and easy to get Didi to other places Service: rooms cleaned everyday, 24 hour reception, 24 hour resort transport, awesome breakfast, free shuttle bus to beachCleanliness: all good!Amenities: warm swimming pool with loungers, all the usual things you would expect in the room.Here’s the stuff to improve:Half of the main swimming pool was closed the whole duration - this was not mentioned when booked. The swimming pool is open until 11:00pm which means if you’re in building one, you will hear kids screaming until 11:00pm.The beach bus is super old and broken - the ac doesn’t work and half the time I felt like we were going to break down! Also, there is no service between 11:30 and 14:00.Some areas of the resort/villas are still under construction.

The hotel is nicely designed, however, the rooms and facilities came a bit into the years. During my stay most of the outdoor Swimmingpools were without water. The breakfast place offers a lot of choices!

Had the best stay this resort. The room was amazing, bed a bit hard but not a train smash. My room had a great view. I was glad to find food I could eat during breakfast and thanks for being accommodating to foreigners palette. (Breakfast caters for foreigners). The gentleman who helped at the reception was amazing and spoke English. The resort itself is beautiful, great for a morning walk. And it’s close to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest, perfect location.

This is one of the most beautiful properties I’ve stayed in in Sanya. Gorgeous, tropical, palm filled walkways, palapa gazebos and bridges that span koi filled rivers and ponds … I honestly felt I had been transported to Bali. The property is humongous and consists of an impressive lobby of dark wood, and many private villas all decorated in South East Asian decor. My massive room with its impressive view of the jungle below, was at the back of the property (reachable by walking or shuttle cart), on the 6th floor of one of the two tall buildings. It was lovely to soak at night in the December air in the private balcony tub and then crawl into the very comfortable queen bed with its nice linens and feather pillows. Another great feature of this room is that it had a small kitchenette with a full sized fridge and freezer and separate sink. This came in really handy as most restaurants (there is one on the property) were about a 10-15 minute walk away and I spent most of the time at the property near the pool having stayed at the beach a few days prior to this. The pool itself is also gorgeous, well maintained and equipped with very comfortable loungers situated under shaded palapas among palm trees.The only downside of this hotel I would say is a not-so-nice smell of sulphur (?) that comes and goes depending on where you are on the property. While I don’t think it would prevent me from coming again, it’s definitely something to be aware of if you’re scent sensitive. Thank you to the friendly helpful staff at the front desk for an enjoyable stay at Stony Brook!

I like this hotel , breakfast is very not bad for foreigners: coffee , eggs , bacon , bread, butter and amazing banana bread, fruits and vegetables. The only one thing what I don’t like is hotel it’s quite old and has a old smell, so for me if they had a smell killer in the rooms would be very nice. Room is big, hotel workers clean room every day, also I love the bath in the balcony. Swimming pool is nice. If you need to do makeup take a mirror with you, light in the room don’t let you to see yourself well. About rest in Sanya: I advise to you to rent a bike, because everything is not close to each other. Water in this beach is warmer then in another near beaches .

The resort is beautiful. Rooms are clean and lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only issue is, there is a shop that closes at 17.30. It should keen till later. Not an I deal spot if you have a baby and a pram as you need to get a shuttle bus to the lobby. But if you don't, its a really great place.
